Here I was, waiting for the skype call to get good signal so I could see my boyfriend. I didn't know where he was today, but I knew it was really far from me; when it comes to him, it's never close enough.
"Hi baby!" he said cheerly, with a big smile on his face.
"Hey gorgeous!" I giggled. "How are you?"
"I'm really good, thanks. You?" he tilted his head to the side.
"I'm good" but I still wish you were here "Where are you now?"
"I'm in Australia, actually. We have a little two-week break, and my mum wanted to see me and spend time with me" he sighed "I was going to go and surprise you, but yeah, mum missed me too much, and I can't say no to her, especially when I've been gone for months. I'm sorry, beautiful" He apologized.
He was so cute. I loved the fact that he cared so much about his family (of course his dog is an oficial member of it, too). He was just so loving and caring, I'm lucky to have him as my boyfriend.
"It's okay, love. I totally understand" I smiled "I think it's really important that you spend time with your family before coming back to the US" he nodded.
"God, you are so perfect. I'm so lucky to have you as my girlfriend!"
"Other way round! I'm the lucky one here" I smiled "I love you, Michael" his smile grew even wider.
"I love you, too, Aria"
We talked for what felt like an eternity, but it probably was only an hour or two. Or five. Michael and I lost track of time whenever we skyped, talked on the phone or FaceTiemed. It was a bad thing, because, usually, one of us would spend the whole night awake just to talk with the other. But it was a good thing too, because it made us both happy.
We could spend the whole day talking, and still have topics to talk about and jokes to make the other laugh. That's what made our realtionship so strong.
Michael and I had been together for almost a year now. We were really in love. Head over heels fo each other. My friends say that we were what everyone calls a 'relationship goals' couple, they said that after I sent them several screenshots of our conversations and tweets on our accounts. It wasn't bragging at all, we always did that with our boyfriends, we even had a group chat for only that kind of stuff. We are a little weird.
Everything between us was perfect. We loved and cared aout each other, and that's what most people look for in a relationship. He was my whole world, and I knew I was his; he made sure to leave it clear to me every single day.
As I said before, we were perfect, but like everything that's perfect, there was a little flaw...
We have never met each other in person.
We met two years ago in Tumblr, I posted something and he reblogged it and sent me a message. Yeah, it sounds weird and stupid, but that's how we met. We talked all the time, and soon, the endless phone calls at three am, the long FaceTime sessions when we couln't sleep and the never-ending skype calls while I tidied up my apartment began.
At first, my parents didn't approve of our relationship at all, but when I turned nineteen, and they realized our relationship was as serious as it could get being so far away, they softened up a bit. They still don't approve 100% but they respect it, because they know he makes me happy. In the other hand, his parents were more chilled about it. They trusted Michael and they respected all his decitions, so when he told them about me and our story, they approved without hesitation. I met them through a skype call, and they liked me (That's what Mikey said, at least).
"I have to go, Mikey. It's already four am" I sighed as I pouted.
"Don't worry. I'll call you later today, yeah?" I nodded "Goodbye. I love you, angel"
"Goodbye. I love you, too"
Skype call ended.

Fanfiction"Aria" he whispered, pulling apart slightly to look at me in the eyes, with the biggest smile ever. Damn, his eyes. "Michael" I said the same way.
