I nodded, "Sure." Again he took a deep breath, "You see, normally I don't have one-night stands and I feel bad for doing this, because it's just something that happens once, but I don't want you to think the wrong way of me, and I actually like you and-" And he rambled on, so I cut him off, "Liam, could you get to your question ?" He cleared his throat and rubbed the back of his neck, "Ehm, so, yeah, I was wondering. Wouldyouliketogoonadatewithme ?" He squinted his eyes, while I looked with an expression full of confusion at him, "What ? Could you ask it again, but this time slo-wer." Again he took a deep breath, "Would you like to go on a date with me ?" I widened my eyes a little, very suprised by his question. "Ehm,I, ehm, I don't know what to say." Disappointment turning up in his eyes. "Oh, it's fine, it's not like I was expecting you to say yes.." as soon as he said that, I felt guilty. Which was weird since I hadn't said no, nor had I said yes. I was just about to say something when my phone rang, "I will be right back." and he just nodded and smiled weakly.

I went back upstairs to Liam's room and sat on his bed. I looked at the display, saw it was my mom, and I answered my phone.

"Hello?"

"ALICIA SMITHS, WHERE ON EARTH ARE YOU ?" I sighed, because whenever she called me Alicia (which is my whole name) I would be in trouble.

"Mom, calm down, I'm wit-"

"No, I won't calm down young lady ! Do you have any idea how worried your father and I were ?"

It was probably better if I didn't tell her that I didn't even remember what happened last night, "Sorry, mom. It won't happen again."

I heard her sigh on the other side of the phone, "Just tell me when you are coming home."

"Ehm, I will be at home in a bit. But I gotta go now, mom. And I am fine, love you. Bye."

"But Allie, who are you wi-"

And I hung up, running my fingers through my hair. Maybe it was for the best if I just went home now, instead of staying with him. I got up and walked downstairs, I cleared my throat to get Liam's attention. "Everything okay ?" he asked. "Yeah, but maybe it's better if I just go home now." I said, showing him a weak smile. Again I saw that disappointment showing up in his eyes, and that made me feel guilty, again. I didn't even know him, all I knew was his name and where he lived. He was practically a complete stranger, and here I was standing in front of him, feeling bad for him. His eyes were a chocolatey brown and that disappointment in it made brown eyes look like big puppy eyes.

WIthout waiting for an answer I searched for my coat, as soon as I found it I put it on, "Bye, thank you for your hospitality. And maybe we'll see each other again." And with that I walked out the door. Without even looking where I went I just kept walking, my mind was just too occupied. And just when I thought my day couldn't get worse, it started to rain. It's like in those movies. Some girl leaves a guy's house, all confused and shit, and it starts to rain.

Though it felt like the rain washed away my thoughts, because finally I realised I was lost. I was standing on a road, but on either sides there were only a few small houses, and I had a feeling that nobody lived in those houses, because it was too quiet. So great, I might have hurt the feelings of Liam, my parents would probably be pissed when I get home (if I get home), it was raining and I was lost. Perfect.

I decided to walk back a little, knowing that if I would walk any further I wouldn't find my way back for sure. I just kept walking and walking until I reached a street that looked a familiar, then it hit me, Matt (one of my bestfriends) moved here last week. He lived across my street for 5 years until a few weeks back he told me his parents and him were moving, the both of us were really glad when we found out he would stay in London.

When I finally found out in which house he lived I walked up the porch, knocking on the door.

I heard someone walking towards the door, "Who's there?" I heard a low voice. I smiled to myself, recognizing his voice. "It's me, Allie." and the door swung open,Matt standing there with a huge smile spread across his face. He picked me up and twirled me around. "I missed you !" and I chuckled, " I missed you too."

I will introduce you to Matt, Matt Brooks. He's a 19 year old boy/guy, tall, black short hair, bright green eyes, always wears jeans and just comfy old jumpers and a pair of sneakers, which I am sure he already has for ages. Matt and I became friends when he moved across my street. He didn't have any friends yet and my mom wanted me to welcome them. And Matt wasn't like the guys at my school, Matt was quiet and barely talked to anyone. That only got worse when people at our school found out he was gay. People who didn't notice him at first started to give him dirty looks. It really got to him, and it came to a point where every night he'd climb up to my room and sneaked in, crying all night. Ever since then we only got closer. Thankfully since a few months he has a boyfriend, Jake Miller. I swear to god they are the cutest couple ever. So since then things have gotten better, and I am Jake really thankful for that.

But okay, back to life.

Matt let me in, showing me his new house, and it made me happy hearing him talk so much and so excited about it.

After he showed me everything we went to the livingroom and I sat down on the couch carefully, while he was just being himself and let himself fall down on it. "So tell me, what have you been up to ? Beth told me you left the club earlier last night with some guy." And he grinned. I blushed and he started to laugh, "Spill it. Oh, but first, did you do it ?" And I rolled my eyes, "Seriously, Matt ?" "Dead serious, now is that a yes or a no ?" and I burried my head in my hands, murmering, "Yes." I peaked through my fingers to see his reaction, since most of the time he was really protective over me. But instead an expected disapproving face an even bigger grin was on his face. "Woah, Allie Smiths, the one-night stand girl." I immediately looked up and hit his arm, "ouch, was that necessary." he said, rubbing the spot on his arm where just hit him. I looked sternly at him, "Yes, it was ! I am not a one-night stand girl, this was just a one time thing." I tried to defend myself, only causing him to laugh. "What's so funny now ?" He shook his head, still laughing "You said it was just a one time thing, but a one night stand is always once, that's why they call it a ONE night stand." I blushed, "Yeah, I know." I grinned. "But enough about me, why did you leave earlier, huh ?" "Well lets just say I had a great night." Matt winked. "Hmm, so you got laid ?" I chuckled. "I never said that." "But is it true ?" "Maybe." And we both ended up laughing.

After hours of talking my phone vibrated. I got my phone out and saw I had a new text. I opened it;

From: Liam

Hey,

I just wanted to say that you left your clothes here. And I hope you got home safe.

Hopefully see you soon.

-Liam

I sighed and put my phone back in my pocket, "So what were you saying ?" I smiled. But Matt didn't say anything, he just stared at me with a raising eyebrow. "What ?" "Oh don't 'what' me. Who texted you ?" I rolled my eyes. "Oh come on, does that really matter." "Yes! Tell me who was it from and what the text said."

I sighed."It's from that guy I slept with, his name is Liam. And it was really awkward this morning so I left in a hurry and he texted me that I left my clothes there. That's it, nothing interesting." "Nothing interesting ? Tell me more about Liam." "Well, I don't know much about him. I only know his name and where he lives." "I meant, describe him." "Oh, well he has brown hair, a quiff, I think a bit shaved up on the sides. He's not extremely tall but not short either. He has big brown eyes. Dresses a bit like you. And he's just very sweet. That's about it." "You say he's very sweet and yet you ignore this guy ?" Matt raised an eyebrow again. "Matt," I whined. "Could you stop hearing me out ?" "Alicia," Matt whined as well. "No, I can't, but because I am your bestfriend, I will." "Well aren't you the sweetest." I said with a sarcastic tone. "Oh, friendly, are we." He chuckled. "Now come on." And he grabbed my hand, dragging me to the front door. "Where are we going ?" I asked him, frowning my eyebrows. "Obviously to Liam, since you still got to pick up some clothes. And I want to meet him. I want to see who made you scream last night." My eyes widened and again I hit him on his arm. "Ouch ! Now all of sudden we're violent." And he rubbed the spot where I had hit him, while we walked outside to his car. We got in and he started the car. "So where does this Liam live ?"
