Chapter 18

Garroth's P.O.V

"I-I I killed her...." I was in tears. The Shadow Lord tricked me... I heard groans and knew they were from Laurence, Dante, and Brian. Once they saw me and Aph, they looked in shock. Laurence was confused, "Garroth what happened?" I tried to talk, " I-I I...... was tricked......" "How?" I sighed, " The Shadow Lord.... he tricked me..... He said he would bring Aph back if I stabbed her. He said if I stabbed her then the wound wouldn't be there.... so she wouldn't die..... But he had said stab her in the heart...." They all looked in shock at me. 

I kept looking at Aph's lifeless body. "I killed her...." Tears started to fall from my face. I couldn't take it. I got up and started running. "I never wanted any of this to happen.... It's all my fault.... Maybe I shouldn't have ran away.... Maybe.... I should have stayed in O'kasis..."

Aphmau's P.O.V

I felt myself being betrayed. I was looking at a mirror. Seeing my reflection. I had white hair and red fire eyes. I heard a voice, "i KnEw yOu WouLD JoiN SOoNer oR LaTeR." I sighed. "I NeEd yOU tO dO SOmeTHInG fOr mE.." I looked at the Shadow Lord. Showing no emotion. "And what is that exactly?" He showed me the village of Phoenix Drop. "I WAnt yOu tO sPY oN thEM....." I nodded. I walked to the room that had the Nether Portal inside. I went through.

I teleported by the lake that was near Phoenix Drop. I sighed, " Should I even go back..." I changed my appearance to a peach hair color and purple eyes. I started walking into Phoenix Drop. Then I heard someone yell. "SHE'S GONE!!" They must've seen that I was gone... Then I heard another voice, "Laurence you don't think she turned into a-" "No, NO WAY If we told Garroth then he will be more heartbroken.... Plus telling the whole village..." I heard everything. I walked by the gates. I leaned on a wall and put on a black cloak to hide my face. 

Then Brian saw me. "Who are you?" I looked at him. I lied, " I'm Crystal..... I was a magicks user in O'kasis till they wanted me to join their army.... I already knew there so called High Priest Zane was working for the Shadow Knights..." "Alright.... I'll have our Lord ask you more questions...." Then he let me in. This was all Deja vu. After Brian finished touring me around, we went  to Garroth's.

Brian knocked on the door. And Garroth opened the door. "Who's this?" I sighed, "My name is Crystal. I was a magicks user in O'kasis, but I ran..." He started to ponder. Then Brian left. Then Garroth invited me to come in, we sat down across from each other. "Why did you come here?" "Like I said I was running away from O'kasis..... They wanted me to join their army because I was the strongest magicks user of all of them...." "Is that so?" I nodded. "I don't believe it." I smirked, "I wouldn't underestimate me...." He looked at me suspiciously, "Can you take off your hood?" I started to think of an excuse, "Sorry, but O'kasis is looking for me.... and for you.... son of the current Lord of O'kasis... Older brother of Zane the High Priest...." I smirked. And He stared at me in shock. "H-How?" "Don't even try... I can see your identity even if no one knows your secrets. I see you already had your fear as well...." "How do you know all this!" I laughed, "Like I had said..... I am a powerful magicks user...." 

I stood up and walked out the door. Then I slammed it. I walked into the forest and took out my communication amulet. "Are you there yet?" "Yeah I am... But Garroth asked me questions... At least I answered them but he was suspicious about me." "APHMAU DON'T BLOW YOUR COVER!" "Hey!! do you want me to choke you to DEATH!" There was silence, "That's what I thought... Now let me do it my way before I slaughter you ZANE!" Then I put the Amulet away. And walked back to Phoenix Drop.
