I hugged myself trying to keep warm. "Why does it have to snow....." I muttered. "I'm freezing!" I did have a home or family so I lived by myself, homeless. I cupped your hands together and breathed in them to make them warmer.
Just then, I felt something big and warm go over my shoulders. I quickly turned around to see a white haired male with a scary mask on placing a black jacket on me. "W-who are you?" I asked not knowing if I should be terrified or safe. "....." He didn't say anything, just placed it on my shoulders and left. I had the sudden urge to follow him, so I did.
I stayed far back as he walked through the secret parts of Tokyo. "I didn't even know this place existed..." I whispered. I'm pretty sure he heard me because he stopped walking and turned around. I hid by a near by corner. I looked around the wall to see if he was moving again. He was gone! " Damnit...I lost him.."
I thought. I sighed and turned around to walk back to where I started but I was jump scared by him standing right behind me.
"Why are you following me?" He asked. "I..uh..I wanted to thank you..for the jacket.." I said shyly. He looked at me with that pale eye that wasn't covered by his mask. "..your welcome.." He said and continued to walk the way he was going in the first place. "Wait!" I shouted. He stopped. "I wanna come with you. Your the only person that has showed me any other feeling than hate and disgust." I said coming closer to him.
He stayed quite for a few seconds. "Fine, if you can keep up." He said and continued walking. A smile appeared on my face and I ran up to him grabbed his hand. He looked down at me in surprise. I smiled at him and even underneath that mask, I could tell he was blushing.
"So, what's your name? If you don't mind me asking." He asked trying to not to make this uncomfortable for the both of us. "(F/n) (L/n)." I said happily. "What's your name?" I asked next. "Ken Kaneki." He said. "Kaneki...." I whispered to myself. "So what kind of Kagune do you have?" I asked looking at his back now. "Rinkaku." He answered. I smiled even bigger. "No way! Me too!" I said happily.
He looked at me and I had my ghoul eye out. He studied them and saw I only had one. "Why do you only have one?" He asked. My smile faded. "I was human once..I went out to the store like my mom told me to..I didn't come back. " I said looking down now. "I was attacked by a ghoul it messed up organs. It almost killed me, but a CCG investigator killed the ghoul be for it could finish me off." I explained. "He called for an ambulance and they took me in to get opan organ transplant. When my parents found out, they quickly made it to the hospital. I was already under going surgery by then."
I felt kaneki's hand tens. "They replaced my organs for a ghouls." I muttered. "After that, I couldn't eat any human food anymore. I craved flesh. I went mad with hunger because I couldn't find anyone to help me. I killed my parents. " I started to cry a little. Kaneki went on one knee and wiped away the tears. "Your not the only one." He took of his mask and showed me his human and ghoul eye. "The same thing happened to me. "
I looked at his gray eye and smiled. "So I finally won't be alone? " I asked. Kaneki nodded and gave me a small smile. I smiled as well. He got up and continued to walk. Instead of holding onto his arm, he grabbed my hand after putting his mask back on.
~2 years later~
"Hey, Kaneki-kun? Are you awake? " I asked looking in his room. He sat up from his bed and yawned. "Yeah..." me and kaneki soon found an old house that was abandoned. It's still weird, we're only friends yet we live together..I offered to live somewhere else. "You know Kaneki, I'll gladly live somewhere else if you want." I said handing him a cup of coffee. "What? Why?" He asked. "I don't know, we're only friends and yet were living together and it just makes me a bit uncomfortable." I said.
Kaneki sighed and placed the cup on the bed side table. He leaned in closer to me. "Well I want you here." He said. "But..." Kaneki closed his eyes and pushed his lips to mine. "I don't want to be just friends anymore. " He said when he pulled away. My face turned completely red, I couldn't say anything. "Are you okay? Your face is red." He asked. "....uhh..yeah...sure...."I said still blushing. He smiled and kissed me again. "By the way, I'm still tired." He said. "Huh? Are you serious? Jerk." I said getting up but was pulled back by him grabbing my arm. "I wanna sleep with you baka." He said cuddling me now. "Oh...okay." I said and cuddle with him.
