PROMISES

There was this girl named Ellia who was so obsessed romantically to her best friend Julius. They are always together in school even in the house, it’s because their childhood friends.

The next day Ellia confessed her love to Julius but of course he was so surprised and he doesn’t know how to react on the things that just suddenly happened to him. He even can’t have an eye contact with her.

Julius can’t answer Ellia’ s confession and just because of that Ellia thought that Julius has no any further feelings for her then being his best friend.

She take it too seriously, as the days passed, Ellia always tried committing suicide or killing her using some things that can be a help. But she can’t continue what she wants to do, she still loves Julius so much and now she decided to wait for him to come back and answer her confession.

They graduated high school and yet Julius didn’t answer, and he was nowhere to be found. Ellia always have her hope and she always sends a letter to Julius past address. But there was no sign of him being there or even one answer to her letters.

Ellia take an entrance exam to a big university to take her college degree. She wants to be a flight attendant. She thought that she already forgotten about her first love but one day she received a letter from her best friend.

To: Ellia

                I’m so sorry that I didn’t answer your confession, can you come to the blossom tree where we used to be, tomorrow I’ll wait for you to come, I PROMISE.

Fr: Julius

Her heart started to beat so fast again as if she felt that her wishes were granted. The next day, there was a typhoon, but she didn’t mind it at all she still went outside to see and meet Julius, but accidentally her hair pin which Julius gave to her fell on the river.

As she tried to get it she also fell but she managed to climb up. After that she was now in front of the blossom tree where she saw Julius standing there. She felt very happy.

“Julius your back, y – you’ve come.”

 “Ellia I’m sorry I also love you from the very start, I’m so sorry for letting you wait for so long Ellia I’ve missed you so much, it’s been 2 years and half”

“What? It’s only been 1 year”

“Have you forgotten, you were drowned in the river for trying to get the gift I gave you? I can still but you more as much as you want but why did you do that?”

“I - I visited your grave and put some flo – flowers there, I – I r – really love you and miss you so much”

Ellia was shocked after seeing Julius cried but then she was happy to know what the guy she always loves has the same feelings for her.

As Ellia hugged Julius, she started to vanish and ask Julius not to forget her and live happily until she was totally gone.
