When you come to, its slow. First, it was the feeling in your body. Then, your hearing slowly started to work again as you heard muffled voices. "Why did you have to hit her so hard??"

"I didn't! She fell and hit her head on the ground!" About that time your sight started to return. You opened your eyes slightly and shut them tight again because the light was so bright. You must have made a noise because the voices stopped. "She is awake. Go tell the boss." Someone leaves the room and you can tell one of them is still here cause you can hear their breathing across the room.

You start opening your eyes again but slowly this time. You get used to the light but everything is blurry. You blink a few times and finally the world starts to focus.

You look around the room, you notice the room is partially barren. All you can see is a small dresser, the bed your laying on, and a chair in the farthest corner from the bed. One light bulb, without a fixture, is hanging above you.

You look around the bed again, and you notice a slight movement in the chair. "Hello? Who's there? What's happening? Why am I here?" The questions fly out of your mouth, but only silence answers them. You try to move and sit up, but your hands are chained to the metal bars on the side. You struggle trying to move and realize your legs are chained as well.

As you struggle more the person in the corner finally speaks. "Struggling won't help. Calm down. We will explain everything later," the figure stands, opens the door, turns their head and looks at you one last time before exiting the room.

You push your head back against the bed in frustration, screaming out.
