Not Picky

He walks alone
On an empty street
His pain never shown
But he's in defeat

They pity the girls
they deserve love
But the guys are "just whimps"
and deserve to be shoved

But that isn't true
Depression takes all
This fact isn't new
Just shoved behind a wall

Depression isn't picky
It could choose anyone
It isn't sexist
And it isn't any fun

Both are in pain
Both hurt inside
No personal gain
From trying to hide

Depression is genderless
So don't discriminate
Yes, the girls do need love
Just remember, boys can have the same fate
