It's been a couple weeks since Battleborn got over his painful flashbacks, but things are still looking rough for the god. He seems like he's okay, and that's what he telling me. I start walking up to my Cabin, when Battleborn stops me outside. "What's up?" he says, his hands in his pockets. "Not much, just heading to my cabin." I say as I smile. "Cool. I have a question for you..." he looks uneasy as he says that. "Yes, Battleborn?" I smile. "Christa," he says as he grabs my hands, my face blushes a dark red, "I've known you for a while now...and it may seem weird because I'm an Immortal....but," he pauses, still looking uneasy or nervous, "B-" I stop him with a finger to his lips. "I know what you're going to ask...and yes. I will." I smile, still blushing. He hugs me tight, but for some reason, it didn't hurt as much as I thought it would. "Thank you..." he says as he cuddles up to me. I smile, "Of course...I've been meaning to ask you the same thing since I first arrived at Camp..." I confess. Battleborn doesn't look the slightest bit upset, he actually seems to be crying. I guess I made both of our days... I think to myself. Just then, "Something is breaking through the sacred barrier of the Camp!" yells an Apollo kid. We all rush over to see a Giant. Battleborn removes himself from my chest, he glares at the Giant. "It takes a God and a Demigod working together to defeat a Giant..." he mumbles. He picks me up and war jumps to the Giant. "There you are, Protector of Olympus!" the Giant yells. "I have been searching for you." We land. "State your name, and reason for being on Olympian grounds." Battleborn says as he takes out two swords, Seems like Bloodrage doesn't grow anymore. That sounded wrong. I think to myself. "I have been created to oppose you by Lady Gaia! I am Sephron!" Sephron yells. "Good. I was hoping you'd say that." he mumbles. "Ready, Christa?" he looks at me. I nod, "Ready as ever!" I say as I draw two daggers. Battleborn launches himself at Sephron as I attack his legs. In no time, Sephron is on his knees. "NO!!! I was supposed to make Mother proud!" Sephron shouts. Battleborn and I finish it with powerful strike it the neck. Sephron falls to the ground. Battleborn is even out of breath. "Now that that's ov-" The campers cheer our names as they carry us into camp.
"Well..." Chiron is waiting for us. "That was an impressive act. How did you know what to do?" he asks us, acting suspicious. "Battleborn knew what to do, I didn't have a clue." he looks at Battleborn. "I was there during the first Giant war. Trust me, Chiron, I know more than even you." He says with a gesture. "I see, well. We'll do an investigation. Go to your cabins and have a good rest. You deserve it."
