Nowhere to go, no one to go to. Alone in the world.

I went back into town, went into an alley and fell asleep. When I woke up the next day I was full of energy. When I was completely awake I went to a local bakery to see if I could get a job. When he asked how much experience have, i had to answer truthfully. "I don't have any experience but I am willing to give it a shot", I explained. And for so reason I was so mature and honest that he gave me the job anyway.

I then worked three hours in the morning, from four to seven, baking, sorting, and stacking the bread and pastries. Then from seven to five selling them. I made about ten dollars an hour so it would be a while until I could really go anywhere.

About a week passed and all I was doing was going to work. Thankfully the owner was generous enough to let me sleep in the back room at night. And all I had been eating for that week was Chinese food from a few blocks down.

Then one day a strange man came into the shop asking where I was. When he came in the owner was behind the counter and not me. When he had asked where I was, I come out of the back room. When he saw my face he knew that it was me. I had never seen this man in my life but he approached me like he has known me my whole life.
