Raven couldn't believe how much he had lied, every word of love spilled from his lips.....all lies. Tears kept falling, this couldn't truly be happening. Yet it kept flashing back into her brain, the vision of him and her, it seared through her mind. Star was some friend, after all true friends know how you feel about yout BOYFRIEND and still kiss them, Raven thought bitterly hiding off in some dark corner of the abandon library. She sat there and cried till she was out of tears, and cried more.
He promised her, together. She didn't need forever, he didn't need forever. What they needed was the other, because together they were finally whole. Birds of a feather, she though as she finally wiped away the tears. There was no point in crying over him, there was no point in denying what she saw. She wasn't going to confront him at school, to many people. She would do it at their spot, she got up and dusted herself off. She checked her face from her pocket mirror, fixed her makeup, and walked out of the library. She felt all eyes on her as she walked down the hallways, everyone seemed to clear the way for her.
A voice rang out through the hallway, calling her name. It sent chills through her spine, it was his voice. Robin, she felt a pang of hurt. Raven kept walking, she wasn't ready to face him just yet. He felt her grab at her arm, pulling her towards him. She turned facing him and slapped him in the face. The look of shock displayed on his face and her was one for the books. She didn't mean to hit him, Raven's quickly went to her mouth then to the apparent red mark forming on his left cheek. The hallway was so quiet; a pin could drop, everyone waiting to see what would happen between the couple. Robin looked at her, mixed emotions in his eye as he looked into her eyes. They were filled with betrayal and concern, and he resisted the urge to reach out and confort her.
