I am a tough guy!

"Good night my dear fellows, you know that today is the day when we change the humanity's fate. Today's meeting is for freedom. Let's go to the above world" Alex rolled his eyes, bored. Well, this was the tenth time Eleanor said these exact words this week. Eleanor ignored him. As usual, Emmy would say the same exact words: '' I am with Eleanor! I am bored of this kind of life. I want to see the flowers Mom talks about. Niisan, will you come with us?''

1-Niisan: Japanese word means older brother.

Alex replied, "no Emmy, I have said that millions of times before; here is our life. The surface is dangerous.'' Eleanor got angry. She always had a short temper. She was fed up of Alex acting like an adult. "Alex is a very boring boy!" Eleanor always says. They both fought a lot.

Eleanor shouted,

"Alex! I am fed up! Stop acting like an adult! I know you are bored of this kind of life, too, but you just don't want to go up there because it might be dangerous! You are such a coward!"

"Don't you dare call me a coward, Eleanor! The surface is dangerous! I am older than you and I know what I am talking about! I will never allow some idiots to go up there just because they want to!" Alex shouted. Alex is a silent boy and he never shows those much emotions, but when Eleanor is around he is totally another person. She irritates him! Eleanor was going to explode from anger. She cursed and stormed out of the secret base. That was how each meeting ended. Emmy stared at her brother with her wide light blue eyes sadly and went out, too. Alex stayed in the room. He started feeling guilt, but he quickly stopped himself from feeling regret. He was doing that for her own benefit. Why doesn't she understand? Alex sighed, and went out of The Secret Base. On the way back to his home, Alex met the only other teenager in the Survivors' Base. "Yo Alex! Mind playing basketball?'' said the teenager.

"Nope, Richard." Replied Alex. It was fun for Alex to hang with someone his age. He really liked Richard. They were best friends since both of them could remember. Alex and Richard went to buy drinks after their basketball match. There, they met the thug of the area. He was a ferocious, annoying, very strong young man. The point is he always liked teasing Alex and Richard because they were around his age. "Hey little men, hahaha, whatcha doin'?" "Why ain't you answering? Didn't your mummy teach you to replay to the greetings, hahaha." Alex and Richard gulped. "Just ignore him." Alex whispered. Richard nodded. They bought the drinks and then, he stood in front of both of them and asked "I don't think you would mind if I took a can ha, hahahah!"

"Of course not. Choose whatever you want." Alex replied while sweating. Alex and Richard had already put that in consideration they bought an extra one in case. The guy took whatever can got caught in his hand and laughed. He got ready to kick them in stomach. Richard shouted, "Leave him alone!" he ran and stood in front of Alex and got kicked instead. The guy laughed and went. Alex asked Richard if he was alright; Richard smiled and stood up.

"I am a tough guy, don't worry!" he smirked.

"Thanks Richard... I am sorry" Alex Apologized.

Alex went to the house and took Emmy. They headed to Eleanor's house. They asked her parents to call her, but they apologized saying: she was really angry. Alex understood Eleanor better than anyone.

"Oh what a shame, I guess you have to take the Mixed Fruit juice that I bought, Emmy." Alex said with sarcasm.

Eleanor ran towards them and asked, "where is the juice? Where is it?" Alex smirked. And gave it to her then asked, "Still angry?" she smiled and drank the juice. "Apology accepted" she smirked.
