Fitting In

Miley's P.O.V

I woke up on Monday, my first day at my new school. Its not most people's first day, school started a week ago. I turned onto my side and looked at my phone. I picked it up and felt the gold studs on the back. I turned it on and rubbed my eyes. I looked at my phone and all I saw was blur. I got my glasses on and then checked my phone. The second I saw my screen, I ran out of bed. I was already late, and its my first day. It was 7:47 and my school starts at 8:30 and its a 15 minute walk!! I rushed to the bathroom. I washed my face, brushed my teeth and put on my contacts. I went back to my room, opened my closet, and took out my favorite light pink dress, with a silver and shiny belt and a jean vest over top. I combed my long wavey brown hair out then did a half up half down and put a pink bow at the back. I put on some black wedges and shut my door. I went down stairs and saw my mom. "Mornin hun! Your breakfast is on the table" my mom said happily. " hey mom! Thanks!" I said. "Im off to work, have a good day! Bye" my mom said then opened the door. "Bye!" "wait! Mom!" i said but she had already left. I wanted to ask her what room i was in. I ate my pancakes, packed my lunch and all my books, then I was out the door on my way to school.

I entered the high school and was totally lost! I was asking teachers and students but everyone seemed to not notice me and be in a huge rush. I saw some girl with blue jeans, a green and pink t-shirt and a jacket walking towards the gym, i tried asking her but she seemed to not notice me. I ran up to her and grabbed her black and purple bag by accident. "Ow!" she screamed. "Oh my goodness! Im soooo sorry!" i said fixing her bag. "Its all good. Im Rachel. Rachel milswell." she said. "Hi im Miley. Miley Rhonson. Im new here." I said shyly. "Nice to meet you". Rachel said. "You too! Do u know where room 77 is?" I asked. "Ya! Its on my way!"

After we stopped by each of our lockers, I took out my notebook, my pen and my water bottle. I shut my locker with my knee and Rachel shut hers with her elbow. She walked with me to where my classroom was. On the walk there, she asked me "hey! Do u want to sit with me at lunch?". "Of corse. We are friends now" i answered. She dropped me off at my classroom. "Bye!" she said. "See you later!" i replied.
