The Annual Nerf War

It's finally here.

The Nerftastic war's 58th anniversary is here.

I'm Luke. Currently 10 years old. Actually, I'm almost 11. When I grow up, I want to invent the best nerf gun that has ever existed.

But meanwhile, I'm working on being to best nerf soldier in the Nerftastic war. I enter every year, but end up just being number 85287 or something. There's more than 10,000 people entering each year, and it's really hard to get to number 1.

Especially since every year, number 1 goes to Clovis Yeer. He has lots of guns, because his family's rich. Every year, he uses to best gun on the market.

Since my family's poor, I have only 2 guns. They're not even that good. What's good is my aim. My dad has an archery set in our backyard, and he teaches me when we have time. He's usually at work though.

Still, I can't wait for the Nerftastic war to start!

I've been training for ages.

And I swear I'm ready.
