Slender stood over me, his plain face over mine. "Would you like to live here Korosu?" I lightly shook my head, still wondering how he spoke, or if it was just in my head. "No thank you sir, I have a place of my own." He nodded, "watching" me. "You may meet the other pastas, you could end up working with them." A smile spread across my face, my cheeks glitching. "Alright, thanks slender." "No problem child." He let me out, directing me downstairs. I'll be able to meet other killers. They may even seem kind. Entering the room was fine, but managing to speak up wasn't that easy. There were a few people there, enough to seem like a crowd to me. A boy with raven black hair sat at the table, messing with a knife. Another boy that looked like link was in front of a TV, playing some sort of video game, while a little girl in a dirty nightgown watched. A monochrome clown stood in the corner with a masked creature, laughing hysterically. That boy with the knife seems reasonable. I slowly approached him, keeping my hand in my pocket. "Hey." He slowly lifted his head, startling me. His cheeks were carved into a smile, torn muscle all across the scars. "Hey. Who are you?" His voice was deep and rough, ripping through my ears. "I'm Korosu. Who are you?" He smirked, skin twitching. "Call me Jeff. You the newbie around here?" I nodded slowly, watching his every move. "Hmm. Slender said somebody was gonna show up, didn't say they would be this sexy." What did he just call me?! "Ben, pause your stupid game and get over here!" The boy playing video games paused his game, groaning. "Fine." He walked over to him, staring at me. His blood red eyes seemed empty, like a bottomless pit of red. "Hey, who's this?" "Korosu." I raised my eyebrow, hearing his tone. It was deep, just like Jeff's. "She's pretty hot." He moved closer, sliding a hand down my back. "Why don't you come with me huh?" Before he got any lower, I grabbed his hand. "How about no?" "Yeah, back away from her ben. She's mine." Jeff stood up, smirking. "I'm nobody's, thank you very much." They were both next to me, staring at me intently. "Oh come on, she's here for me-" "shut it asshole." My tone seemed a bit more harsh than intended, but like I cared. "You two start hitting on me, I'll smack your ass back to the sixty's." Ben and Jeff watched me, wide eyed. "Don't be like tha-" "you were the one trying to grab my ass ben. Screw off deku scrub." I kept my grip on my dagger, watching his eyes dart to the floor. Jeff was laughing, holding onto his knife. "Don't know what it means, but it's funny. I like this girl." I smirked, watching him sulk. "Next time we talk, don't try this business again." I walked away from the two, hoping to find somewhere else to go. The clown was staring at me as well, his laughter no longer heard. I slowly walked up to them, keeping a hand in my pocket. "Hey. Sorry about...that." "Oh you're fine!" He chuckled, gaze locked on me. "Thanks...." The creature beside him stood still, his hand covered in blood. I was hoping to god these two weren't as rude, but you never know. "I'm laughing Jack, this is eyeless Jack!" The clown seemed excited, like a small child on a sugar high. "You can call me EJ if you want." The creature spoke through its mask in a soft tone, not as peppy as laughing Jack. "Whatever you prefer. I'm Korosu." They both nodded, laughing Jack smiling. "New recruit right?" EJ seemed a lot more calm than the others, he wasn't really in others faces as far as I knew. It would be amazing to work with him. "Yep. I've got a few assignments already." "Already working? Damn." He chuckled softly, as did I. His laugh was deep and smooth, unlike the other Jack's. The familiar aroma of blood surfaced, a smile finding its was across my face. "You okay?" EJ tilted his head to the side, and I nodded slowly. "Yeah...it just smells an awful lot like....blood." He nodded as well, glancing at the door. "Guess they're home." "Who-" before I could finish, the door burst open. "I told you not to worry about that Toby!" "Hey, d-don't blame me!" A boy, around seventeen, walked in as two others followed. The boy had messy brown hair, orange goggles, and a mouthguard, hatchets in his hands. The two men behind him seemed annoyed by this ones manic behavior. One male had a white mask on with black feminine decals, while the other wore a black ski mask with a stitched red frown and eyes. They all smelled of blood, which caused my smile to widen. The boy ticked occasionally, his voice affected by it. "Toby, you were supposed to kill them and leave, not bother with dismemberment!" The masked one shook his head, and I recognized these two. Marble hornets. I've seen the entries quite a few times, yet didn't think much of them. "Don't tell me that w-wasn't cool! Her arm was across the f-floor!" The boy seemed delighted with his work, yet the hooded one was extremely irritated. "Toby, stop fooling around when there is work to be done." The boy just shrugged, chuckling loudly. Slender had appeared next to the three males, his face molded to show he was aggravated as well. "You three are late. What is the reason this time?" The three looked up at him, Toby standing perfectly still. "Well.....I um....." "You know what? I do not wish to hear it. We have a new member, act appropriately." They all nodded, slender leaving the room. The males all turned to me, my gaze drifting down. The boy, who I believe is named Toby, came over first. "Newbie huh?" The other two soon followed, keeping their distance. "I'm Toby." I nodded, keeping my eyes on the floor. "Quiet huh? A-and are you glitching?" Once again, I nodded, while Toby kept he eyes on me. "Hmmm." The masked man scoffed, walking past him. "Sorry about Toby. I'm Tim, but you can call me masky like them." I gazed up, glancing at his mask. I nodded slightly, as the other hooded one walked up. "I'm Brian, but like Tim, you can call me hoodie like the rest of us." My mind was cramming all this information together, processing it quickly. "Okay, I'm korosu." Toby gawked at me, speaking quickly. "She talks?!" Hoodie elbowed him, turning around quickly. "What did slender say?! Go talk to LJ or something." Toby ran off, leaving the two here with me. "I'm sorry about Toby, he's, well, him." I shrugged, nodding a bit. "It's fine. I'm used to worse." Both gazed at each other, then turned back to me. "Have you met the others?" "Yeah, Jeff, BEN, both jacks, and you three." Masky nodded, gazing at Jeff, who was messing with BEN. "Well, you're the new killer slender hired?" I smiled a bit, putting my hands in my pockets. "Pretty much. I've been out in the field for a while, ever since I was sixteen." Both nodded again, masky extending his hand. "Welcome to the group. You staying here?" I shook it, shaking my head. "Nope. I've got an apartment downtown. You guys live here?" Hoodie shrugged, as did Tim. "I guess. We stay here on occasion, yet not all the time." "I see." I realized I was still holding his hand, and let go quickly. "Sorry...." The two males gazed at each other, then back at me. "It's perfectly fine. Are you okay?" I nodded, holding my arm. "Yeah, I just don't do well with new people, as you can see." "You're just fine." Hoodies mask moved a bit, so I guess he was smiling. "Thanks." The aroma of blood washed over me once again, my mind plunging into darkness once again. "Look, I've got to go. I'm sorry. I'll see you two later?" Both nodded, hoodie smiling. I quickly left through the electrical signals, leaving both of them gawking.
