Chapter 1 Sapph's P.O.V

My older sister Amy is a singer she writes her own songs but she also does covers. She is an amazing singer, When we lived in Texas she sang by the club called the Texan Rangers. But she hasn't sung in a or by club since we moved to Birmingham, she sings at home but she has recently taken up a sport called Roller Derby. It is a cool sport and she said that I could join but I don't want to because her teammates might think that I am just her sister that copies everything that she does and I don't want that backfiring on her and plus I own a Jewelry shop and control the financial side of things for my sisters and I plus I help people with soul searching. Whereas my younger sister Em will do anything that my older sister Amy does but Amy has told her that she is not allowed to join roller derby. Amy told me it's because she just doesn't want Em to do everything that she does and that she finds it annoying and honestly it can get really annoying. Anyway with our home it's a little two bedroom apartment but it's home. Two of us share one room while the third one gets the room to themselves, first it is Amy for two days, then it's me for two days and then it's Em for two days. Now back to my sister Amy, I never finished telling you about her. She has this amazing boyfriend his name is James Blunt. He is a singer too. Amy has a very pretty Diamond bracelet, a set of Diamond earrings, a Diamond necklace and a ring that she wears on her right hand all from James, Amy keeps the Diamond bracelet, earrings and necklace in a safe that only her, James and myself know the code to because if Em knew the code she would get in a wear them and never give them back. I know she is my sister and I'm not supposed to talk about her like that but that is what she does. She borrows things from us and never gives them back, jewelry that is. But we do share our not so precious jewelry items with her because we are not selfish, we were not brought up that way. When the three of us were younger we shared everything, everything but clothes because all three of us had different styles in clothes and we still do in fact all of our clothes are split up between two wardrobes for when we change rooms. Anyway Amy is about to go out and she always asks me if she looks alright and she always looks gorgeous.
"Hey Sapph, do I look alright?"Amy asked
"You look gorgeous but you need to wear a bit more colour other than your hair Amy. You wear too much black. But you do look gorgeous. Are you going out with James?"
"Yes. And I know I know I need a bit of colour but it's just so hard to find clothes in colour that suit me"
"Are you kidding me?"
"What?"
"Everything suits you! We'll go shopping tomorrow OK. Just go out and have some fun"
"OK. Thanks Sapph" 
"No problem Amy"
"I'll see you later. OK."
"OK. See you later" After Amy left, the phone rang.
'God I hope that's not James cancelling on Amy, she'll be crushed' I answer the phone
"Hello?"
"Hello, Is Amy Crawford?"
"May I ask who this is?"
I'm Nina. Nina. Nina Dobrev. I'm the owner of the club 'Avalon Sound' and I need to speak with Amy Crawford please"
"Sorry, you  have just missed her. Can I take a message for her?"
"OK. Yes please"
"OK. What's the message?"
"Just get her to call the club when she gets back please. The number is 1330 6746"
"Sure"
"Thank you"
"Who is this again? Sorry I forgot your name"
"That's alright. My name is Nina Dobrev. That's N-I-N-A D-O-B-R-E-V"
Thank you Nina. I'll have Amy call your club when she gets home. Bye for now"
"Thank you and good bye" I hang up the phone and message Amy.
To Amy - Hey, I got a call from someone looking for you from Avalon Sound, a club.
From Amy - Who was it?
To Amy - A chick called Nina Dobrev
From Amy - What did she want?
To Amy - She wants you to call her when you're free or when you're home. The number is 1330 6746.
From Amy - OK. Thanks Sapph.
To Amy - No probs sis :-)
"Hey Sapph! Who ya texting?"
"Hey Em, I'm texting Amy"
"Ooohhh is she in trouble?"
"No she isn't"
"OK, bye"
"Where are you going?"
"Out with friends?"
"Okay, bye, be good"
"I'm always good, love you"
"I know you are. Love you too" Em leaves and I'm all alone next thing my phone goes off and it's a message from Tex
From Tex - Hey baby, are you doing anything tonight?
To Tex - No I'm sitting at home doing nothing
From Tex - Go to the door and open it.
To Tex - OK. Why?
From Tex - Just do it. You'll be surprised
To Tex - OK, OK. I'll do it
I put my phone down and go to the door. I open the door and Tex is standing there with my favorite box of chocolates, two dozen blue roses and a batman jumper.
"What the?"
"The roses too much?"
"No. No. I love everything. I love you. Come in"
"OK. I love you too. Hey would it be alright if I stay over tonight?"
"It shouldn't be a problem, I'll just have to ask Amy first though. Cause she might already have a plan for James over"
"OK"
To Amy - Hey, sorry to bother you but Tex came over and was wondering if he could stay over tonight.
From Amy - I was going to have James over but it's alright you have Tex over. I'll talk to James about staying over at his
To Amy - Are you sure?
From Amy - Yes. I talked to James  and he said that it's alright so I'm staying there for a couple of days so have Tex over for a couple of days.
To Amy - Thanks Amy, you are the best. I love you sis.
From Amy - I love you too sis.
"Amy said that it is alright that you stay over"
"What does your other sister say about it?"
"Em doesn't get a say in what I do"
"She may be the youngest but you should give her a heads up"
"I will tell her"
"Okay"
To Em - Hey Em, Just a heads up, Tex is staying here and Amy is staying at Jame's
From Em - Okay. Thanks for letting me know
To Em - No Problem
"I told her"
"Good" The door opens and Amy walks in with James
"Hey Sapph. Hey Tex"
"Hey Amy. What are you guys doing here?"
"I'm just getting some clothes then James and I are off. I'm going to be at James' for a week so Tex if you want to stay here for a week that will be fine"
"Are you sure Amy?" Tex asked
"Yes I am"
"Amy you are the best. Thank you. I love you so much. We will go shopping next week Okay"
"OK. Sapph please calm down. Okay, we will go shopping next week. I promise"
"Okay. Thanks Amy"
"Well we better go. See you next week, Okay"
"Okay. Bye"
"Bye. And thanks again Amy" Tex said
"No problems" Amy said then shut the door behind her. I haven't told you what I think about James. I think he's a cheater and I think he is just using my sister and I think he doesn't love her like he should. Amy's last boyfriend (before James), he treated her so bad that Amy wanted to go back to New Zealand. Which was impossible for two reasons, 1: She didn't have a job at that point and 2: Em and I would of had to go back with her and we didn't want to leave Texas (That is where we were living at the time). Em and I convinced Amy well I did the talking and Em just listened because she was very young and didn't know any better. I  finally convinced her that there will be heartbreak in the world and that this was just the beginning of something amazing not the end I knew she loved singing, she used to just do covers but that day she became a whole new Amy. That day she started writing her own music. Our father had brought her a guitar for her 5th birthday and for the first time since our father passed away she picked it up and started writing music and it was great music. I loved listening to Amy playing the guitar and singing. I just hope she realizes this about James before it is to late. I do not want to see my big sister hurt like that again. But if I tell her what I think of James she will hate me forever and I do not want that either because I need my sister to turn to when I need help. I know that Amy would want to be with someone that she could be with for the rest of her life and she says that it could be James but I don't think so, I can tell that he doesn't love her the same way she loves him. Me on the other hand Tex is my boyfriend and Amy thinks he is the best boyfriend out of two that I have had because like Amy; my last boyfriend was not the best thing that has ever happened but probably the worst thing that has happened to me and I didn't want to leave my room but Amy came to talk to me and said that someone once told her that there will be heartbreak in the world and that this was just the beginning of something much bigger. That got me out of my bed and my room because I thought about it and yes there will be heartbreak in the world but you just gotta say to yourself that it is just the beginning of a brand new you. My youngest sister Em she has only had one boyfriend and she is still with him surprisingly because Amy and myself don't think that he is the right fit for our sister but you never know he could turn out to be the right person for her. About ten minutes after Amy and James left Em came home.
"Oh. Hey Tex. Hey Sapph"
"Hey Em" Tex said
"Hey Em"
"Where's Amy?" Em asked
"She's at James for a week and Tex is staying her for a week. I did text you to tell you"
"Oh. Okay cool. I'm going to bed" Em said
"Okay night sis"
"Good night Em" Tex said politely"
