Breath - Chapter 1

- First Day -

I.

It was a lazy Saturday morning and you're in your room lying on your bed, not planning to get up and live a life like your sisters do. You were as lazy as a potato couch sitting all day getting molds around you. Not even bothered to look at your phone, you kept on rolling on your comfy sheets until your younger sister came running into your room.

"Hera! Hera! Hera! Your boyfriend is here!"

Your eyes bulged out upon hearing the word 'boyfriend'. You soon got up and shot her a 'what-in-the-world' look. "W-what did you say??"

"Tss, your boyfriend is here.. oh, wait. Are you even sure he is your boyfriend? He's kind-a cute." Hana smirked. Though Hana was the youngest, she has the most mischievous mind among the three of you. You were in the middle. Son Hara is your eldest sister, then you Son Hera, and lastly Son Hana. But you can't avoid the fact that you're the most beautiful among the three of you.

"What the hell are you talking about? I don't have a boyf-" You stopped when a person suddenly popped in your mind. "What's his name?" you asked.

"Kim Taehyung, unni." She replied and that certain moment, a long loud dolphin scream came out from your mouth putting everyone in the house in chaos. Your parents came to your room to check what was going on, and your older sister Hara was in the shower yet she managed to go out with only a towel wrapped around her body.

"What in the world is going on here???" Your mom roared, yet you still scream like a dolphin getting stuck in a fishnet. "Hera!"

"Mom, she's just excited though." Hana smirked, quietly laughing at you while you go crazy on your bed.

"Why is he here?????" You screamed, tears formed in your eyes.

"Uhh, who?" Hara asked, she was still soaking wet, water dripping on the mat floor.

"Aigoo, Hara! Go finish your bath!" Your mom yelled at her and she went back to the shower.

"Hera, why don't you fix yourself and just go downstairs. Taehyung is waiting for you-" Your dad spoke after a long moment.

"Tell me this is not a dream!" You whined, you can't believe it. Kim Taehyung? Your archnemesis in school is in your house and he's claiming to be your boyfriend?

Later on, you have no choice but to go downstairs and meet Kim Taehyung.

"W-what are you doing here?" That was your warm greeting to Taehyung the moment you saw him sitting on the couch. You won't deny the fact that he's handsome, manly, attractive, over-dying sex-appeal and whatsoever, in other words, he's perfect.

He smirked as he slowly stood up from the couch, "That was quite a scene earlier." He commented. You just rolled your eyes and kept quiet until he spoke again. "Hera, about you said the last time.."

"It's nothing, don't mind it. Not a big deal, goodbye.." You said waving your nonchalantly. You don't want to go back to what happened to that 'last time'. But exactly happened?

"Come on Hera! It'll be fun! I swear!" Yuna, your best friend chimed as she drags you to the enrollment section but you kept on pulling yourself away from her. You don't want to be enrolled in Seoul University. You want to go to Busan and study there, but Yuna had already planned abducting you from your parents and make you enroll in this shitty school. You called this a shitty school because it's the school for elites, famous, intelligent, talented and rich kids. And your best friend Yuna, is one of them. She's pretty, talented, smart, rich and her social level is the same as the sons and daughters of a chaebol (tycoon). Unlike you, you're pretty, smart, talented and only in the middle level of the society. But you are unlikely mistaken as an elite as well because of your beauty. You and Yuna have been best friends since forever. Your parents were also best friends since kindergarten, so it was no mistake that you two became good friends as well. Even though Yuna, is a rich kid, she often gets bullied by girls who are just jealous with her. She's very pretty that it made most of the boys in your middle school wanted to date her. And you're there, always got her back; who knows taekwondo and boxing. You were her savior. But this time, you'll be the one to save yourself before it's too late.
