Bandaged Fates

Chapter 1

It was a nice day the sky had a rainbow in it because a little earlier it was raining. I was just dosing off thinking about the day. Suddenly I hear mom yelling.

 LUKE RILEY GETS OUT HERE NOW!

Oh no now I’m going to get it. “Yes mom?”

“I just got a call from your principal she said you got into a fist fight with Even.”

“But mom he started it…” mom is usually really nice about things but when it’s serious she will get extremely angry.

“You wait right here I’m calling your father.” She walked off into the other room.

I waited there for a few minutes getting ready to be told that I was grounded but surprisingly when mom came back in she told me that dad said if he truly did start it that I had every right to punch back.  Mom then told me that she was very disappointed in me. Mom was a tad bit upset she doesn’t like seeing any of us out of line.

                Later that night dad came home and we all were sitting at the dinner table. Adam as always got food first but was then forced into helping serving all of us. Lily on the other hand was just pouting in her chair because Liza DemonL stole all of her candy. Dad tried telling her that it wasn’t worth getting upset about but its way to hard to ever get threw her so we just let her pout. Juliet was talking to dad about her new story she wrote about talking ferrets.  A few minutes later we all had our food. It was spaghetti. Suddenly the phone went off. Mom went running for it because she has always hated the sound of them ringing. When she came back I was already almost done with my food. Mom looked exited.

                “Payton will be over soon with her kids.”

                “Does that mean Everett will be over?!?!” I screamed

                “Yes along with Lizzy and Joanna”

Lily and I were all exited but Juliet and Adam didn’t seem to think much of it. Lily just loved seeing Lizzy because she’s so little. And I was best friends with Everett. Two hours later, Payton and her husband along with her kids where all here at the house.

                “Hi Everett, What’s up?”

                “Nothing really, do you want to hear a secret???”

                “Sure what is it?”

                “I heard that Joanna has a crush on Adam”

                “REALLY” I screamed. Immediately Everett slapped my arm. “Ouch what was that for….”

                “Keep quite it’s a secret! Joanna would murder me if she knew told anyone!

                “Alright…”

                “shhhhh someone’s coming.” Everett said worried he might get caught. “Oh hey dad what’s up?”

                “Hey boys Alice and your mother were wondering if you wanted to stay the night here Everett.”

                “Sure dad!” Everett practically screamed across the house.

                Mom walked into the room and said, “I’m guessing that’s a yes? I made some cookies if anyone would like one fresh out of the oven. But Nate you better watch out one might be “Poisoned”.”
