'Dedicated to all the lonely children and orphans with no home or family. I wish you well and hope you find peace in both life and death.'

The tears pouring down
Like rain from her cheeks
She closed her eyes
Wishing for nothing but to forget
The past events of her life
All that had destroyed her,
torn her apart
Having been abandoned at the age of 5
Her heart remained pure as ever
Never a thought of revenge crossed her mind
For all those who had abused her
Ruined her life
Destroyed her dreams
For no hope was left
She was going to die
Stranded in this place
With no one for comfort
For truly, they did not care
Curled up in a corner
Trying to protect herself from the biting cold,
She felt her arms go numb
Heart rate decreasing,
As blood slowed down in her veins
In a matter of seconds,
She was gone
Her corpse stiff from the cold
To be found later by a passerby
No one knew who she was
The little girl in the alley
Who died from the cold
Her identity unknown
And she was buried
In the same position in which she died
Her hands wrapped around her legs
face hidden in her lap
Forgotten as she was
Unknown to her own parents
She was the perfect example
Of an innocent life gone to waste
A mystery they called her
The little girl who met her end
In the alley filled with snow
The abandoned orphan
