You folded the letter then tucked it into your breast pocket. Why should you care who Honey is? Ignore the letter. Throw it away. It's probably just a prank from one of the guys.
Even so, you are desperate to find out who Honey is. The deadline is within a month since you're moving in December.
You put on your big coat with the soft fur sewed on the inside. You're immediately warmed up after putting it on.
You run downstairs then open the front door. "Where do you think you're going?" Your mom asked in a irritated tone.
You turned around then stared at her for a minute. You really hated her for sending you away.
She tapped her foot, "well?"
"Why do you care? You're sending me away!" You yell at her.
She slapped you. "Don't disrespect me and tell me where the hell you think you're going!"
Your mom is a tiny woman. Standing at 4*7, weighing 89 pounds. You are a built man. Standing at 6"5, weighing 196 pounds.
The only similarities between you two is you both have a strong fighting spirit and you both have bad tempers.
But you know better than anyone else to not go against your mom. She'd kill you.
"I'm going to Grace's house, ma'am."
She smiled. "That's all you had to say, honey, I'm going too."
You groaned. "Why?"
"I've taken quite a liking to Grace's father."
"You can't come."
"I get that you want me to get back together with your father but that's not going to happen. We don't love each other anymore. He's free to date whoever he wants and I'm free to date whoever I want."
You stepped up to your mom. Her green eyes narrowed with confusion. You placed your hand on her shoulder and looked her straight in the eyes.
"Mom, Rick is a asshole. He'll be nice to you at first but when he gets what he wants he'll vanish. He told Grace he'll never be committed again after her mom died. So you can't come. Please."
Your mom looked at her toes. Whenever she makes a decision she does this. And if she was wearing shoes that covered her toes she would take them right off.
"Alright I won't go," she winked, "If I got with Grace's dad I'd be awkward for you two kids to get together."
You scrunched your nose but didn't say anything. You just walked outside into the cold air. Grace lived a block away and you were positive she knew how to find Honey. So you left.
