Phoenix

From the ashes you rose

And I watched your every move

You made my flame grow strong

Yet I shut you out

Now you're the one who needs me

But I left without trace

Never to be seen again

You put up your walls to keep me out

And hoped I'd come crashing in

Yet I sat outside in the cold waiting for you to let me in

You waited and waited

But to no surprise I was no where to be found.

From the ashes you rose

And I watched your every move

You made me stronger but now I am weak

And you are the Phoenix.
