Ally's POV
Austin didn't drive me to school this morning so I had to walk, it was a 10 minute walk not that far but once I saw his car parked in the parking lot and Adrienne was walking away, I take my chance.
"Uhm, Aus why didn't you pick me up this morning? I don't mind walking but I was just wondering" I give him a tiny smile but he was typing away at his phone again not acknowledging me.
"Aus? Austin!" I finally got his attention.
"Sorry I had to meet with the group about something important" He sighs and looks around almost as if to see if people were watching.
"But we always drive to and from school together" I hold onto the brown straps of my bag.
"Ally I've got a reputation that I have to own up to" Their he goes again with Ally but I nod in understanding, continuing to ask another question.
"So are we still hanging out at your place after school?" I smile, but he doesn't.
"Yeah we can't Adrienne and the rest of the group are coming over" he gets out his phone beginning to text whoever he was before, not looking at me anymore.
"But you promised" I frown.
"Not all promises can be kept" Austin walks away into the school still looking at his phone. I can't believe he just said that, we were fine yesterday morning what happened?
I walk into Marino High everyone was so happy and messing around with there friends, good for them I'm pretty sure I just lost my best friend. Thinking about it just made me angrier and angrier I've been best friends with him forever, the rest of the day I was in such a negative mood.
I walk to the car as Austin does too and turn my back to him, waiting to hear the car door unlock.
"Hey Ally" Seriously I'm tired of hearing that and I never even wanted to hear what he said today. You may think I'm being whiny but you have no idea how much this means to me.
"Are you serious? Ally its just a pinky promise" he says amused and I feel my eyes begin to burn before tears reach them, I whip around and stare at him, his face softens the tiniest bit.
"Dont you say that! Austin I've kept all my promises to you because you are special to me, and I thought you felt the same we promised that we would always be best friends! You kept that one for how many years? I get that you have a reputation but your reputation to me is a best friend when are you going to own up to that?" I shout knowing people were staring, anger clear in my voice and I run out of the parking lot to the place my parents used to always take me to I need them so much right now.
Marie Park. (comment if you caught that)
I sit at the water fountain and cry my eyes out, I feel the presence of someone beside me and hope its not Austin.
"What's wrong chica, you need a friend?" I wipe my tears and look at the latina with beautiful long black hair, overall she was stunning.
I talk to her for awhile before explaining what happened, because that would be weird. But I really like her she's funny, sassy but sweet, and her name is Trish.
"He's treating you like a side ho chica, and you need to stop letting him its you or nobody else because you've been there for him through everything" Trish comforts me.
"Thanks, I don't have any friends, Austin was my best friend and I don't know what I'll do without him" my eyes start to tear up again.
"What school do you go to?" She asks me and I answer with Marino High, she sighs.
"I go to Logan Highschool, our schools are rivals, I wish I could just transfer over to your school" Trish bites her lip and we get up from the water fountain, my butt hurts from sitting there for so long.
We exchange numbers and go home, mom, dad please come back.
Sorry I took forever, but school is really stressing me out, I have AP Mathematics and its of course taking up a lot of my time.
