Fighting: To Return to My Love!

Prologue

Edward Pov:
       I'm Sergeant Major Edward Cullen I'm 32 years old just returning home from Afghanistan in 10 years I was honorably discharged after my last injury. I was shot in the shoulder and nearly lost my left shoulder in the process. After that I decided it was time stay stateside and make a life for myself. After I fully recovered from the injury I decided to head home to Seattle, Washington and move back. I want to move into my own place, and I want rediscover my hobbies and maybe discover love and get married. When I was in the army I couldn't focus on my love life and it wasn't like I was mister irritable in high school. I was bullied in school, and after high school I decided I wanted to join the army to make difference,I wanted to be the man everyone looks up to. I wanted to be someone my parents would be proud of my dad Edward Cullen Sr was a very successful lawyer. My mother Elizabeth was a very successful dancer until she ended her career  when she hurt her knee doing pleat. She tore her muscle in her knee rendering her unable to dance the same ever again. They both died in a car accident almost 11 years ago. They were killed by a drunk driver. I'm now back stateside happy my grandparents left there house from when they were alive, it's a very old Victorian style mansion directly in front the river that runs for about five miles around the state of Washington. My family is quite huge there is Carlisle,Emmett,me my sister Alice. There all married now with careers and houses of there own. Carlisle is a very successful surgeon and married to Esme and the have a daughter named Caitlin,Yasmine and Mollie Cullen.My brother Emmett is a physical therapist and is married to his wife Rosalie and they have a daughter named Maya Cullen. Then there is Alice who is fashion designer and is married to one my close military friends Major Jasper Whitlock, and they have a son named Lucas Cullen. We have very close friends to the family such as the Swan's, Denali's, Whitlock's and Hale's.This is my life and now I'm fighting a new battle a fight to blend in with society and face the demons of war from my past. Haven't seen the Hale's, Swan's,Whitlock's and Denali's since well 10 years. I was so excited to see my family and my nieces and Isabella Swan she was my crush although she is like 4 years younger than me. She was the hottest girl to me my entire life I was there the day she was born. I was always the one to pice her up when she cried my brothers complained that I love Bella more than them. Which was true I hated seeing Bella cry I was there to comfort her, that was down side of being in the army I wasn't able to see 'My Baby Bella' that was my nickname for her. She was more calm when I was around Renée used to tell me Bella loved me more then her family because she would always be crying when she was at home but as soon as she saw me she smiled and would let go of me literally. Well I'm now at home. This place could use some work like replacing the furniture and some of the pluming. I'm supposed to see my family and friends tomorrow for a barbecue at Carlisle's. I can't wait to see my nieces, friends and family.

                                                THE NEXT DAY AT CARLISLE'S

       I had just arrived at Carlisle's in my grandpa old 1960 silver corvette, it's uprising still ran very well. I had just arrived at the house when I saw multiple cars the one that stood out the most was a 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible it was a midnight blue. I walked up to the door and knocked on it. I was greeted by my nieces Caitlin and Mollie these two are crazy add there sister Yasmine man I hate to be you.
"Uncle Edward" they squealed and they jumped into open arms and hugged the life out of me
"Hi Cait Moll, how are you girls where Yazz?" I asked as I hugged them back. They didn't respond but rather yelled right next to my ear.
"YAZZ GET DOWN HERE SOMEONE HERE TO SEE YOU,EVERYONE ESLE COME IN THE LIVING ROOM!"yelled Caitlin.
Yasmine came running down the stairs "Who is it?" She said sounded annoyed until she looked up and saw me she squealed and ran into my arms and hugged me while she was crying, I understand why she was emotional the lay time I saw her she was 2 years old. We hugged each other for a second before the family came in and gasped when they saw me hugging Yasmine. Carlisle looked shocked, Emmett well he looked like he wasn't really sure I was here, and when Alice saw me she just ran to me nearly knocking me and Yasmine to the ground in the process. I saw all the Whitlock's hug each other and the Hale's do the same thing. Then Renée, Charlie, Mishelle, and Riley just smiled at me. Bit I didn't see Bella the one face I wanted to see didn't see. Then I saw out the corner of my eye someone walk in the front door. I slowly turned around and gasped at who was there.......
