Sorry for the author's note... I just had to say this, on this rare occasion, a part of this book will not be dedicated to the actual Bel... Sorry! It will be dedicated to a girl (annerocks9) that put a huge smile on my face because she said this:
Nope it was way beyond our expectations!!! You have a lovely, awesome sense of humor and I would love to read more!! Pls don't stop writing this cause you're awesome!! I love this book!!
Okay... GURRRRL. First, she used you're correctly and second... SHE LIKES MY TOTALLY NOT FUNNY 'SENSE OF HUMOR'. WOW...
And I would also like to thank: nerdylol, misteriousanonymous, JPhillips159, TanviSharan, BellaGh, simpleBUTeffective18, xXMusic1DGirlXz, JaymeDunn, simply_me3126, Lulyy_Luv, and others! You made me laugh! (I sound like I'm making a speech, jeez...)
Part B: I was thinking about this for a while... And I wanted to have a Q&A. You guys comment your questions on this chapter and I answer them how I think 'Bel' would answer them. Then, if she may, the real Bel will answer them, and we can see how I did and how the character compares to the person!
That's all! Thanks!
"Is he really going to do that?" I asked the boys about Louis, who was curled up in a really comfy looking chair reading the first of my books.
"He is Louis, so technically, he will remain stubborn until the day he-" Liam began to explain but Louis cut him off with a rather noisy shout.
"I"m not stubborn! You're just ridiculous, all of you lot!" He shouted then turned the page and giggled a little.
I'm guessing that he was at one of the more humorous (why would he laugh otherwise? Duh, Bel) parts in the book, because for the next few minutes that we watched him read while munching on Nandos, he kept smiling and laughing and all that.
"Hey! Bel!" He yelled at me, finally looking up from his book.
"Hey! Louis!" I imitated him, making a face when he stuck his tongue out at me.
"How did you think of this?" He asked me, his eyes convincing me that he was truly curious and not just playing with my head.
"Well, I had some inspiration, which I currently don't have, and I don't remember exactly what it was, but I think it says it in the afterward." I explained, sighing at my astonishing lack of memory that involved a massive part of my life.
"What's 'Change the World'?" He then asked, obviously having pent up a ton of questions and they were all just spewing out.
"Oh, that? That's another book I wrote. It's realistic fiction, and it's about a girl named Sahara who changes the world. It was a pretty interesting and difficult book to read." I replied, yawning even though I wasn't tired.
"And why doesn't the main character of this book fall for the bad guy?" He questioned, his brow furrowing.
"Cliche, cliche, cliche."
"How come the main character doesn't have a ton of cool powers, but only a few."
"Cliche, cliche, cliche."
"You hate writing cliche things don't you Bel?" Niall asked, cocking his head at me, his eyes sparkling with laughter.
"Ya don't say Horan?" I said sarcastically, rolling my eyes at his question and starting on an apple.
We fell into a comfortable silence, something that was rare around me. I had a tendency to just try and fill in the silence with useless and mindless chatter; but here, I didn't feel the need. Louis and Harry began their own conversation about something on Twitter, Liam and Zayn began talking about my books, and that left Niall and me sitting in silence.
"I want to show you something Bel. I think it'll help with your authors block or whatever." He took my hand and led me to a room I thought I had passed on my way to find Zayn.
He pushed open the door lightly and what I saw shocked me. There was a window seat with a massive window, letting in all of the sunlight. That sunlight was catching on a chandelier or something that reflected it and created little dancing rainbows everywhere.
But what amazed me most, was the walls. They were covered in pictures of girls. Some young, some old; but what made them alike, was that they were all smiling. Each and every girl was grinning ear to ear.
"What is this room?" I breathed, almost afraid to break the mystical silence that hung thick in the air.
"It originally was empty when Lou and Harry moved in; they just didn't have anything to do with it. But then Zayn had the idea of turning it into a collage of pictures of our fans." He replied, smiling fondly at the photos.
"That's absolutely incredible. And yet, there are so many spaces left." I pointed out. And in truth, I was right.
There were so many blank spaces in the walls; seeing as this was a room that had tall and wide walls. Niall simply nodded and began to examine the pictures with me.
"This one was in Paris," He pointed out a pair of grinning nine year olds (?) in 1D barrets. "Venice," A photo of a teenage girl standing in a gondola holding a sign that read 1D, "Toronto," Three girls holding up their hands to reveal 1D nails, and so on.
I was amazed at how much detail you could see had gone into this. Each picture had; in silver, bronze, or gold sharpie, the date, place, the names of the girls, and occasionally, the tour it was from. One particular photo caught my eye.
"Is that-?" I asked Niall softly, tugging on his arm to get his attention.
He smiled sadly, "Yeah... She died about a day later; we went to her funeral and everything. I couldn't believe such a sweet girl had died."
The photo was of a girl who you could tell had cancer and gone through chemo. She had no hair and had an IV, but on her face was the smile of a girl who had years and years to live. She was holding a drawing of the boys. And it was so detailed (even in the photo!) that I thought it was another picture.
"That drawing is right in this room," Niall lead me to a smaller, but not much smaller, room that held drawings of the boys and such.
Each one had the same thing on it, date made, artist, and place the artist was from. Claudia, that was the girl, had hers framed in a polished wooden frame that each of the boys had sighned.
"I think I'm going to cry," I sniffled, taking in the detail of the drawing, "I can't take it anymore."
Niall gathered me up in his arms and held me there while I sobbed for a little. We stood in that brightly lit room for about another twenty minutes before Liam came in.
"Oh, so you showed her the photo room?" He asked softly, a little reminiscent smile forming on his face, "Did Niall show you the photo count?"
When I shook my head no, Liam led me to a little counting thingy over on the wall next to a photo from their Up All Night tour. It was a small thing, but I could tell it had been crafted with great detail. It was wooden, and so were the numbers, everything was just so exact.
"5,004? That's so many!" I exclaimed, once again turning around to look at everything in that room, "I can't believe you guys would do something like this for your fans. Do they know?"
"Not exactly," Niall explained, "They know that we have a lot of pictures of them in a collage, but that's about-"
I interrupted him by shouting, "I've got it! I have the perfect idea! Okay, so... Um, the story is going to be about... Two, no three!- girls who are in love with this boyband and want to show their love by collecting photos of all their fellow fans and sending it to the boys!"
"You got that all from this room?" Liam asked, quirking his eyebrow.
"Well, not exactly. By the time I actually start writing the book, that idea will have long been gone. I assure you that that is not even remotely going to be close to the plot of the actual book. It's just the foundation you see."
"I don't exactly see, but that's okay." Niall said, laughing a little and shaking his head.
I was about to reply, but I was cut off by a shriek from Louis, Zayn, and Harry, "Uh guys!" They yelled, freaking out, "We've got company!!"
LOL. Clifhanger!
