Skate
I was currently laying in my bedroom, my eyes closed as I daydreamed about me and Sammy. Yes, if you couldn't guess, I like sammy.
Probably more than I should honestly.
My phone started to ring which made me groan, I picked up my phone and answered not bothering to look at the caller I.D.
"Can I help you?." I ask sassily, "well shit princess, did I interrupt something?." A familiar raspy voice asked.
A grin teaches my face and I sit up, "no no, I was daydreaming that's all." I say, "someone sounds happy." Sammy teases. I could sense the smirk that was growing on his face.
"Very." I replied shamelessly, "i was wondering if you would like to um.. Go and get some lunch with me." Sammy's voice cracked a little bit. I bite my lip and blush.
"Y-Yea, that's sounds great!." I exclaim, I clear my throat, "I mean totally, I can't see why not." I say and he lets out a cute laugh.
"Alright text me you're address babe and I'll be there around two." He says, "okay." I say and smile.
When I hang up I immediately send him my address, I was so happy to be able to go somewhere with my crush.
Crush....I have a crush, on Sammy. Sammy wilkinson. And I wouldn't want it to be any other way.
I stood up off my bed and walked to my closet picking out a causal outfit, I like to dress to depress, but not today.
I look at my clock, in blue bold numbers it displayed, one-fifty-one. I quickly threw on my outfit and I dashed out my room to my bathroom which was across the hall.
I locked the door and brushed my teeth quickly, I was so jumpy because I was happy. Strangely I wasn't having any bad luck today, it made me feel even happier.
I wipe my mouth with a washcloth and look at my facewash that was sitting there half empty. I reach over to the bottle only to pull my hand back, I shake my head at myself.
I don't have any time to do that, I unlock the bathroom room door and run back to my room and throw on a pair of converse.
Of course my dumbass picks my beaten up, torn and faded, grey converse. I get ready to untie them and grab my red ones, that didn't match my outfit, when my phone dinged.
I grab my phone and see a new text message from Sammy, 'I'm here beautiful' it read. I decide on sliding the screen and he the blue block that had reply in white letters.
I send 'okay babe' and toss my red converse on my other shoes, I grab my phone stuffing it in my back pocket, I grab my keys and head downstairs closing my door on the way out.
I hit the last step my shoes making a slight echo sound catching my moms attention. She raised an eyebrow setting down her phone.
"Where are you going all dressed up, a date?." She questions wiggling her eyebrows playfully, I felt heat rise up to my cheeks.
"No mom.." I mumble, "I wish. I'm going to lunch with a guy named Sammy." I explain.
"A lunch date?." My dad ask peeping his head out the kitchen, I groan a bit and roll my eyes.
"No, just lunch, no strings attached." I say, "none?." My mom ask, her voice kinda upset. Like one of those teenage girls that get a bit upset when they find out their otp isn't dating or one of them is straight/gay.
"Not even a little bit." I say, I wave running to the door, "love you guys, bye!." I call and close the door. I jog to Sammy's car and open his car door.
He smile at me as I close the door, "hi skate." He says softly, my heart did flips and I blush muttering a 'hi' to him. He pulls out my driveway and down the street, taking us to wherever.
I wanted to count this as a date, but I didn't. I can't. Sammy didn't ask me on a date, he just asked me to get lunch with him. It sounds like he asked me on a date but he didn't. Sadly.
I turn my head towards the window and look at the buildings we pass by, and the cats that speed past us going to whatever place they are heading to today. I stare at the trees and grass.
Today was so beautiful, and today... I wasn't having any bad luck. Well, yet that is. I felt super happy, I was going to lunch with my crush. I can't wait to tell my friends.
Damn, now I sound like a girl.
Oh well.
I felt a something squeeze my thigh lightly, I turn to Sammy and see a small smile on his face.

"So..." Sammy tailed off, I was staring at the small cafe in awe, I lived close to it yet I didn't even know that This place existed.
"This place is so cute." I say a small smile growing on my face, I turn to look at Sammy who was already staring at me. He had a grin on his face.
"I'm glad you think so." He says. He grabs my hand and we walk inside the cute place.
We walked up to a small line of people that moved surprisingly quick, I looked at the menu trying to decide what I wanted.
"If I were you I'd get the dark chocolate chip brownie." Sammy said, I didn't respond back and continued looking at the menu.
So many choices, if I had a lot of money I'd have everything. Why am I such a fatass.
"Okay.." I answer Sammy five minutes after. I could feel him stare at me causing me to turn and look at him, "what..." I trail off softly.
"Just admiring your beauty." He says, I felt a blush rise to my face. Next thing I know we were now in the front of the line.
"Hi, How may I help you." The girl asked sweetly, "Hey, can I get a dark chocolate chip brownie with a...." He looks at me, "small iced mocha." I say quietly.
"Okay and anything else?." She asked moving a strand of her purple hair out the way, "yes, and could I get a blue berry muffin with a small Pepsi." Sammy finished.
"Okay that will be... Seven dollars and eight six cents." She smiled, Sammy handed her a ten dollar bill, "keep the change." He said softly.
"Thank you, and what are you're names so I can call on you?." She asked, "Sammy and skate." Sammy answered.
"Alright, thank you." She says, Sammy smiled and I grip his hand together as we walk to a booth.
