Chapter 1: The Vision

I Laid on the ground with a hole left side of my chest feeling the lacrima arrow in my chest I was scratched up with the right side of my hoodies sleeve gone I pulled out the arrow struggled to get up panting as a blonde man with a white trench coat walking to me slowly grinning at me with an evil intent of victory at his grasp. I see a pink haired woman reaching out to me as she was badly wounded struggling to crawl as the man walked away from her he laughed evilly he stood over me as i stretched my hand to him aiming my magic at him but the man pins his hand to the ground hard with his boot looking down at me then said "Hehe looks like this will be your last fairy tale." seeing him form a lacrima crystal from his hand and just as he shot the nightmare ended and I woke up in the middle of the night panting. I was nine years old my lil sister rolled over looking at me worried she was 7 years old "Oni-chan....are you okay?" I looked at her "Y-yeah...I'm fine.." she looked at me and asked "Promise?" she held her pinkie out to me and I smiled crossing my pinkie with hers "Promise." My name is Rikata Mizuki and her name is Simi Mizuki we started out with a happy family life was great until our mom died a year later on the year 773 but before she died she gave my sister her choker which had a cross on it. Our dad couldn't bare the fact she was gone so unfortunately he took his own life. We lived on the street after our parents passed away i had to work and steal for food for Simi and me. Life was rough until i had an idea after overhearing a couple of guild members from the Blue Moon Guild (sorry i didn't thin of the name my sis did ^^") talk about how much jewels they make so I decided to go see them then an explosion came from the guild as I was walking in. I fell backwards from it then woke up with debris on me I saw a shadowy figure pick me up and take me to his home.
