I see someone inside a building near the top I run up the stairs luckily it's not a very tall building there are other people but they are fine I reach the persons apartment and open the door as the building starts to collapse. I look for a window, find one, grab the person and smash through the window. they scream as we fall and the building goes down I look above the young woman's head and see 50.7.4.23.5. Good. We hit the ground hard I hit with my back shielding her from the ground as much as possible she gets up speechless, I stand up and begin to walk away but she chases after me grabbing my arm and examining it, not even a scratch. people have started crowding us, someone who I think is her mother pulls her aside and hugs her I take this as an opportunity to leave I push through the crowd seeing a few other immortals doing the same.
That night I climb to the top of the building and kayden is already there sitting down facing away from me I walk up to him "how many?" I ask "one"he replies "that's good.. for your first day" I say he nods "where's Sean" I ask "he normally comes back around this time" "he did and muttered something about retirement" replies kayden "dammit" he's gone "what?" Asks Kayden "Once you pass fifty years you can retire whenever you want and be a normal person be born and die" I reply Kayden just nods "so he's gone for good?" He asks I nod.
