Ashlynn POV
As usual our house was boring so we went back to Nash's and Shawn and Cameron were there. We all were sitting on the couch watching TV. Livvy, Hayes and Shawn were all on couch and Nash, Cameron, and me were on another couch.
"Bye kids, I'm dropping Skylynn off at her friends house and after I'm going to work," she about to walk out the when she turns around. "Don't you guys want to do something besides watch TV."
We all turn around to stare at her with straight faces. "Why do I thing of all the ideas? I brought up the beach last time. You know what, today you are all going to the movies. I suggested beach and you all did it so now I'm suggesting movies. Now go get ready." And with that she finally leaves.
I'm the first one to stand up and I stretch, "are we really going?"
Cameron stands up after me, "I'm up for a movie." I look back at him and smile.
Nash shoots up too, "count me in." He turns to Hayes, Shawn, and Livvy, "you in?"
Shawn stands up and holds out a hand to Livvy, "are you up to it?"
Livvy took his hand "yeah, let's do it"
Hayes quickly stood up after, "I'm coming too." Was there tension between them that I was missing?
"I'll drive," Nash takes his car keys and walks out the front door.
Cameron sat in the passenger seat and I sat in the middle row while the three of them sat in the way back. Cam and Nash talked the whole way and I chimed in their convo now and then.
When we got to the movie theater they picked The Fault in Our Starts. Of course I read the book so I was excited to see the movie but I knew I wouldn't be a good pick for a bunch of guys.
Hayes sat all the way on the inside, then was Livvy, then Shawn, then Cam, then me, and then Nash. We got two big things of popcorn and everyone got a drink.
I was trying to actually watch the movie but Cam and Nash were making comments and since I was in the middle I heard them all. They were all really funny so I laughed every time but then some mean lady in front of me kept yelling at me for laughing.
About a quarter into the movie Livvy gets up and storms out, I would have followed her but Hayes followed her out. She still seamed pretty mad at me so I let her best friend comfort her.
Nash leans in and whispers in my ear, "was she crying?" I shrug my shoulders and look at Shawn.
"Was my sister crying?" I lean across Cam to ask Shawn.
"Shhhh," the lady leans back to yell at me.
"I'm sorry for trying to talk to someone about if my sister is okay." I give her as much sass as I can without being too loud to interrupt the other people.
Shawn nods his head yes then stands up. When he gets closer to me he bends down and whispers, "I'll go check on her, stay her and watch the movie. I'll tell you what's wrong after." He pulls away and I mouth Thank you.
"So they picked this crappy movie and then leave to force us to watch it," Cam leans in towards me.
I lean in towards him to whisper so the lady won't yell at us again. "This isn't a crappy movie. It's actually really good."
