Soundwave's Echo

Chapter 10

Echo was slammed against the door as Knockout made a sharp turn. Odd how she was jolted around yet the relic didn't move an inch.

Speaking of relic . . .

Echo was in a position where she could see out the back. She watched as the scout Bumblebee charged after them. He's not in vehicle mode? Echo clicked. "Sporting of him." Knockout said adjusting his rear-view mirror. Suddenly Bumblebee stopped and held his arms straight infront of his chestplate. Echo had seen training exercises to know what he was doing. She instinctively curled into a ball. Without her mobile suit damage from a Cybertronian weapon was at lethal levels.
Seconds went by and nothing happened. Knockout slammed on his breaks and Echo was smacked against the glove compartment.

Now she knew why there were seatbelts .

Echo rubbed the back of her head and got back into the seat. He's not even trying to stop you Echo clicked surprised to see the yellow mech still standing on the road. The car lightly trembled as Knockout began to laugh. "Bumblebee! Where's your famous horsepower, huh? SHOW ME SOME SPEED!" Knockout called.
Bumblebee clenched his servos and bolted towards them. Echo glanced at the steering wheel as he got closer and closer.
At the last second, Knockout hit the gas and sped away. Echo shifted around in her seat and clasped the seatbelt over herself since Knockout got wild in a chase. "Ah a good chase is just what I ordered. . . what the?" Knockout said as the symbol on the wheel lit up. Echo turned her head and saw Bumblebee on a beak up truck.
She started to giggle.
"What's so funny?" Knockout said. What's with the rent-a-car Echo clicked then pointed at the scout. "ha...HAHAHAHA!" the inside vibrated as the medic laughed. "Let me ask . . . Bumblebee! What's with the rent-a-car!" Knockout began to laugh harder while Echo let out silent giggles.

Knockout grew serious again after a few moments. "We'd love to stick around and do some donuts around you, but we have a delivery to make." Knockout called. Up ahead was a turn that ran along the cliffside. "Better hold on , Echo. If you get hurt Soundwave is going to be after my aft." Knockout said. Echo nodded and tightened ber grip on the seat. The speedy Decepticon made a flawless turn and sped down the road. Echo watched as Bumblebee made futile efforts to turn or even slow the truck down. She couldn't help but feel sorry as the young mech crashed and was launched over the cliff.

I am so terribly sorry about the lack of updates for all my stories. Freshmen year is hard and I've been very busy. I do try to write when ever I can so sorry if this chapter seems rushed or short.
