"Attention," his voice rang through the studio and the model who was talking to me, winced. I sighed softly, I recognized this side, and I've heard it before. I heard it the day he left me, and I heard it moments ago. I looked up to face him like everyone under him did but I avoided his eyes. They were too painful to look at, that beautiful purple.

"The results," he started and we immediately knew what he was going at, "Take a guess. I'll be back in 5 minutes."

He smiled slightly, it was a sad smile, before going to what seems like the male toilet. His look startled me a little, I think he was just pulling a strong front to uphold his family title which I take a guess – the royal family. I always took that guess even if Sir Alex covered up the fact really well. How did I take the guess? It wasn't that hard, we lived in a big place with many people waiting on me. Sir Alex was always out to do 'duties' and he told me he offered to take care of me. The way he told me was obvious it was a cover up that he sentenced my parents to their death.

"Evergreen," his voice snapped me out of reality and I glanced up at him in shock. His eyes were slightly red which he pulled quite nicely as anger but I clearly knew it was hurt.

"I asked you who do you think won," he repeated with vibrations in his voice. He was clearly irritated at me for not being alert, for not replying.

"Eh, eh," I was stammering as I glanced around the room and my stupid mind replied, "Me?"

There was amusement in his eyes, pure amusement. I took a step back, not in fear but to give him space. It was a trick I often played on him when he was 12 and I was 9 to calm him. It worked for a short while as a look of confusion flashed across his eyes. I bit the inside of my lip, to prevent me from laughing.

"Didn't know you would like to spend the whole of next 5 months with me so much," he smirked and a look of puzzlement flashed across my eyes, "but yes, you did win. Congratulations, not for being a slut, but for winning."

He send me the last part through eye contact, using one of his vampire skills, and I flinched slightly. I hate how those purple eyes always manage to confuse me but I'm no longer a 12 year old on her birthday. I'm 17 for goodness sake and I refuse not to have the last word. I took the letter lightly and smiling at it.

"Who knows?" I titled my head, "I may enjoy it...Sebastian Alexandra Ellen Conner."

I whispered as softly as I could to him before walking off. That was a bold move alright and for the first time in 17 years, I left him standing in shock. For the first time, I took the last word.

^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^

Muse isn't your typical uptight girl. She's brave and fearless. She can stand up to Vampires and sleep peacefully at night. Do you wish to be like her because I sure DO! Through the book, be expected to see the different personalities both Muse and Sebastian have.

I assure you that even though Sebastian is the one that holds the most power here, Muse has all the intelligence and class to make up for it. As we proceed, watch as she slays the day even when she's badly hurt :)

I'll KILL to be Muse.

Love,
