Zina's Pov :-

I felt a wave of guilt wash over me after I heard those words come out of his mouth

" who said I don't love you back" I gulped nervously as I felt his lips leave my skin

He looked at me with a confused frown titling his head to the side

" my curse ,, it's still there Zina I can feel it" he stated with a disappointed expression

" I know you think I don't exchange the same feelings with you but that doesn't mean I won't try to" I whispered the last part lowly looking directly to his eyes unwrapping my legs from around his waist to stand in front of him

His facial expression suddenly gone from disappointed to shocked

" I know the curse isn't broken yet ,, and I guess it will take some time to ,, maybe we weren't on good terms when we first met but that doesn't change the fact that I care about you" I confessed truthfully slowly hugging him so my forehead is rested on the crock of his neck

He wrapped his strong arms around me once again tightly running his hand in my hair

" well , you don't know how glad I am to hear those words right now" he said squeezing me letting out an amused chuckle

I broke away smiling back at him then I smirked splashing him suddenly with water

"okay that's it" he said wiping the salty water away from his face splashing me back

We kept on splashing each other with water and fooling around like 9 years old kids acting childish and silly.. It was really amusing to see Zayn's silly side,, and I'd be lying if I said that the time I was spending with him wasn't fun

I really like this carefree side of him

"Let's head out now it's been three hours and I'm getting tired" I stated drained out of energy since me and Zayn has been fighting like kids for nearly 3 hours

"It's okay then let's go," he nodded walking towards the shore

I ran jumping on his back taking him by surprise making him nearly lose his balance

"You like piggy back rides don't you babe" He chuckled as he lifted me up by my hips

" yeah , I think so" I said feeling my cheeks getting a bit rosy because of the nick name he called me .. Thank god he can't see my face
