Daniels Pov
Man i really like Delilah, but shes so in love with Brandon. Man i felt something when i kissed her. I wonder if she did? I felt bad because Brandon and Delilah got in a fight because of me, because i kissed her. i hope shes okay. I wonder if i should call her and see whats up. I got my phone out of my pocket and called her, there was no awnser. I really hope shes not mad at me, well who wouldnt be i just kissed my best friend. How dumb am i for doing that. She just looked so cute i couldnt take it. All this thinking just got me tired so i just took a nap.
I woke up and it was 5:30. I checked my phone and i had a miss call from Delilah!? So i text her. I went down stairs to go make me a sandwich. I open the fridge and my phone buzzes it was a text from Delilah.
me: aye
Delilah: Daniel we need to talk
me: okay meet me in the back of the church
(The church is a spot we always meet up at)
Delilah: okay be there
me: okay see ya
Wow I wonder whats so important that she needs to tell me. I put on my shoes and change into my backetball shorts, i grab my phone and head out the house. While i was walking to the church i walked by brandons street. I seen him at the front of his house, he called me to go over there, so i did. While i was walking over there i was kind of scared to see what he would tell me.
"Dont you ever talk to Delilah again! Or you'll see" said Brandon
"What the hell, i dont have to listen to you!" Daniel said
*Brandon threw a punch*
I socked him back hard and we got into it. I had Brandon on the floor and then one of his friends stopped us.
I started to walk away, and all you hear is Brandon telling me off so i just waved at him with one finger and left. I knew i had some blood on me. Well i can see Delilah sitting there waiting, i walk towards her and she comes walking to me.
"DANIEL what the hell happend to your face" she said.
"Your boyfriend" i said.
"man Daniel i am so sorry about that, are you okay?" she said.
"Yea im good, dont worry. So what did you want to tell me?" i said
"Well Daniel, Brandon doesnt want me talking to you... But i cant do that because your my best friend. So at school i dont really want you to talk to me in front of Brandon because he would throw a fit... Is that fine?" Delilah said
"Yea i understand, just dont let him boss you around Delilah" i said.
"Yes i know, and one more thing" she said said
"yea?" i said
"Why did you kiss me?" Delilah said
