I fell to my knees. Everyone stared at me.

"No!" I yelled, holding my head in my hands.

Ah, yes, Perseus. How are you today? Shadow cackled.

"Shut up! Leave me alone!"

Nope. Nopity nopity nope. Never.

"Percy!" I heard Nico yell then shadow travel to me.

"Please! You can do anything to me, except possess me, but don't hurt them! Don't hurt him! " I growled, tears coming down my face and through my hands.

Shadow sighed. Alright. You better get ready for a ride, Jackson. Because it'll be worse than Tartarus! He cackled.

I cried out in pain.

"Percy?! Are you alright?" Nico exclaimed, crouching next to me.

"I..." I was full on crying now. My walls shattered and came crashing down. I was breaking.

Nico, seeing I needed comfort, hugged me and calmed me down.

Wait, Nico's hugging me?!

I quickly hugged back and cried until it was only silent tears running down my face.

"Y-you okay?" Nico stuttered, blushing at how close we were.

I nodded and pulled away.

"Th-thank you Nico. I've been... like this for a... er, while now. You're the first one to comfort me since..." I stopped and wiped away my tears. Nico probably didn't want to hear this.

"It's alright. Wait, what about Annabeth? Why didn't she comfort you?" Nico said through gritted teeth.

"I.... she didn't know. No one can help me. I'm in to deep.... in two different things." I sighed.

"What are those two things?

"Well... one is death." At this, Nico was shocked. "And the other... well, I guess it's personal. But I'm going to have to break up with Annabeth because of it..."

At her name, Annabeth walked up. "What's got to do with me?"

"I need to talk to you. It's important. Nico, I'll see you soon." I muttered and Annabeth and I walked to the woods.

"What's up?" She asked.

"Well ... I f-found out s-something... I- I'm gay..." I wasn't gay. I was actually bi, but Annabeth has been paying no attention to our relationship, at all, so I needed a break... from her.

"W- what?! You're..... gay?!?!" She exclaimed.

I nodded slowly.

She sighed and nodded. "I'm glad you told me when you first knew. It saved further heartbreak. Well, I hope you have a good afternoon." And she walked back to camp.

I sighed and started walking back.

When I got to the edge of the woods, Shadow spoke in my mind.

My little prince, time for your torture. He cackled.

"NO!"

I fell to the ground, darkness surrounding my vision.
