The Field

CHAPTER 1

-----KAYLAS POV-------
If was one of the last weeks in summer and me and my softball team were going to LLWS to support our local team redland. We wore are redland shirts and white shorts with Nike elites and slides. It was going to be the best week ever. I get in the car with everything I need and I get into the car and text my teammates I were picking up. They rest I was meeting there.
Kayla- I'm omw to pick you all up!
Kenzie- oh my god yay I'm so excited.
Brooke- can't wait to hang out with you all!
Haley- hopefully we meet the boys!!
Allie- I'm super excited!!
We were all staying the night at a hotel for the whole week!! It was going to be great. I pick up the girls and we talk for the whole 2 hour drive. We get to our hotel and get settled. The hotel was so close we could walk to the stadium. There were one beds and a couch in each room so we had 3 girls in each room. I was in the same room as Kenzie, Brooke. While Allie and help room together.
We all unpack and the rest of our team was there. So we head straight to the stadium the Redland boys played later so we walked around a little and watched the first game. We noticed a challenger baseball so we sat down and watched, the redland boys were being noticed and so was the other team they were playing. We sat there and watched and then the boys came up and say in the stands. They say diagonal behind us. I look over and notice a cute boy with with curly brown hair staring at me. He smiles at me so I smile back. Then a couple minutes later he walks over and sits next to me.
"Hello, my name is Jaden" He says
"Hello, my name is Kayla" I say back to him
"I like that name" he says as he blushes
"Thanks" I say my face turning red
"Hope to see you around" he says winking
"Me too!" I say back
Then he walks back to sit with his friends.
------ BROOKES POV--------
Kayla and I decide to go get food and we walk up the steps by the redland boys. I feel some one grab my arm and turn around and I see Cole Wagner.
"Uhh Hey" he says nervously
"Sorry about that, but this is my friend Cole. He gets nervous around girls like you" says Braden
"Oh hey Cole" I say with a smile
"You coming to our game later today?" He asks
"Yea! Me and my softball team are staying the whole week!" I respond
"That's awesome!" He says
"Talk to you later. Me and Kayla are going to get some food" I say
"Okay bye!" He says
"Bye" I say back
I just realized that Kayla and Jaden are talking over sports and stuff so I walk up to her. And then she says bye to Jaden so we can go get some food. We get the food and sit back down my our team. This was going to be the best last week of summer!
