Chapter 6

I'm sooo sorry about the last chapter ;-; I cried so hard writing it. I destroyed my OTP. By the way, the OC introduced in this chapter, I promise I did not intentionally steal the name from anyone, it was the first name that popped into my head!

Ciel's P.O.V

I sat in my study, looking over recent documents and case files sent to me from the Queen when I heard a loud knock on the door. Glancing at Mey-Rin I saw her hazel eyes narrow as she lifted her guns, aiming at the door. Clicking off the safety she nodded at me and I said, "Come in" The door opened and in stepped Baldroy, a pretty young girl by his side. At the sight of Mey-Rin he lifted his hands in surrender shouting, "Whoa there, calm down!" She lowered her guns and I sighed, gesturing for him to have a seat. Leading the girl in he let her sit down in the one chair in front of me before going to get one himself. After he finally sat down he cleared his throat a little, tugging at his shirt collar nervously as he wiped a drop of sweat off his brow with his free hand. "Young master, this is Maia Fitzgibben" I arched an eyebrow at the girl as I looked her up and down. Nodding a little I held out a hand for her to shake. "Ciel Phantomhive" She giggled a little before saying, "Yes, I know who you are. Bard talks about you all the time" Her voice was incredibly sweet, and to be honest, her face looked as though it were carved by angels, pure and beautiful. She had brown hair cascading down her shoulders in delicate curls and soft, hazel eyes. "We thought it was time for the two of you to meet each other, young master" I nodded and sipped my tea before asking, "Might I ask who you are? Besides your name, of course" She nodded and held up her left hand, a plain gold ring on her finger. "I am Bard's fiance"

Sebastian's P.O.V

I woke with a start in my room at the Phantomhive Manor, instantly being hit with an unfamiliar scent, the scent of a woman's soul I did not recognize. My body was covered in many slow healing wounds and sweat, making my hair stick to my face as I whipped my head around and gasped for air. "Shit," I whispered when I realized my hand was cuffed to the bed post, but I was much too weak to break it off, having just been exhausted of all my energy. Unconsciously moving through peoples' dreams and being majorly wounded in the process made me feel nauseous for the first time in many years. Suddenly, the door opened and I heard a voice shout, "Mr Sebastian?!" Glancing at the tall, blond male I reached out a hand and whispered, "Finny... Bocchan... Now," before rolling over and vomiting a lot of blood and some remains of human food I forced myself to eat all over the carpet. "Damn it, Finny!" I cried when I looked over to see him still standing there with a look of shock on his paling face. I felt my vision go dark, and I remember vomiting one last time before I fell unconscious.

Short chapter, I know. But hey! Bard's little lady has been introduced!
