The Memories

Chapter Two: Do I Love Her?

I awoke with a pool of sweat all around me. All these memories of her and me came rushing back. I don't know what all this mean but I don't even have time to think about it because I have a mission.

This mission is with Sakura, Tenten, Kiba, Rock lee and and and Hinata...

I grabbed my stuff and head to the gates to meet up with everyone. When I get there everyone was already here, I scratch the back of my head nervously "am I late?!" I gave a closed eye smile to everyone and they all groaned expect Hinata I think.

We all started walking and I go behind everyone so I could think and maybe steal glances at Hinata every now and then.

"Is something wrong Naruto." I get startled and jump a little but it was only Sakura.

"Oh it's nothing I'm just a little tired I guess." I couldn't even come up with a good lie. My mind has been on all the memories of me and Hinata. She saved me...she would die for me. I just don't know how I could repay her for her debt, but more importantly she said she loved me.

"Stop lying to me." Sakura hits me on top of my head with her inhumanly strength.

"Owe Sakura what was that for." I yelled at her Rubbing my head.

"Now tell me what's really wrong or I'll hit you in the gut next time." I thought about it for a second and then quickly remembered Jiraiya almost dyed from Tsunade once.

"Okay okay." I stop and let everyone get a way ahead before telling her. "I had a dream and it was of all the times of me and Hinata. Like when she saved me from Pain and almost died. Just for me. Well I'm not sure on what I should do. I don't understand what it all means."

"You dobe!"

"Hey! Sasuke is the only one who can call me that!"

"You have to find this out for yourself but I will tell you one thing. Hinata really loves you, she doesn't even have to tell me because you can see it. The way she cares for you, the way she looks at you, and most of all the way she would protect you over anyone especially herself." Sakura starts walking off leaving me stunned with my mouth wide open. "You coming." She yells at me and I start to run to catch up.

Time Skip

It's nightfall now and we're about to make camp. We made a fire and now we're all sitting beside it.

"So what's are mission anyways?" I ask eating ramen. Hmm ramen!

"WHAT! You don't even know our mission!" Everyone says in unison. I look up with ramen hanging out my mouth.

"Naruto-Kun you really don't know our mission?" Hinata soft angelic voice speaks. I get nervous and put my hand behind my head.

"Well uh not exactly." I give a closed eyed smile to her.

"YOU BAKA NARUTO ILL KILL YOU." Sakura stand up and starts leaping toward me.  Rock Lee and Kiba quickly jump up and hold her back.

"IM SORRY SAKURA-CHAN!" I repeatedly say until I see her anime vein going down.

"We are going to the sand village to help out Gaara. Someone very important to him has been kidnapped and he trust us the hidden leaf village to retrieve her especially you Naruto." I feel bad now that I wasn't paying attention when Tsunade was explaining. "Now get to bed everyone." Kiba barks.

Everyone head to there sleeping bag and that's when I noticed I forgot mine... Oh crap what am I gonna do.

I crawl over to Sakura's sleeping bag and tap her "hey Sakura I forgot my sleeping bag." I whisper to her."  Her face gets really angry looking but she doesn't open her eyes or turn around to me.

"Then ask Hinata she has the biggest one I think." She growls through her clenched teeth. I back up slowly heading toward Hinata's bag. I'm super shy right now for some reason and can feel caterpillars in my stomach crawling around or maybe that's just ramen.

I get to Hinata's sleeping bag and see her staring up at the states. I tap her shoulder and she jumps a little. "Oh sorry for scaring you I was wondering if." I place my hand on the back of my head nervously like always "I could maybe sleep with you since I forgot my sleeping bag?" She immediately blushes but not that red.

"Of course Naruto-Kun." She smiles timidly and scouts over giving me enough room. I turn over so my back is facing her but soon find out I can't sleep at all.

I turn over so now I'm facing her. I see she's still staring at the stars. I face the stars with my arms behind my head. After about ten minutes I turn to look at her. She was dozing off to sleep.

"Hinata." I whisper poking her cheek. She is wide awake as soon as I did that she turns her head to face me and then her whole body.

"Y-yes Naruto-Kun?"  I love when she says my name with a Kun!

"This might be a awkward question but I feel I should bring it up." Hopefully she answers and doesn't get mad at me for asking.

"It's okay ask away."  Her hands are underneath her head kinda like a pillow and she so small and petite.

"remember when you saved me from Pain?" Her face gets super red and I thought she was gonna faint but she didn't.

"H-how could I forget." Her face calms down a little bit but I bet she's embarrassed  by remembering her words she said to me.

"I was wondering why you actually did that i can't remember what you." I lied because I just wanted her to see if she still felt the same way.

"Well I think I said something along the lines of you changed me,you made me a better person, your smile changed me and I wanted to walk beside you. You changed me for the better leading me to the right path. And and um." Her face gets red again "I think that's all. If that's all we should get to sleep, we can talk more about this later."

"Of course." Is all I could muster out.

She left out the part that she loved me...

Okay so that was the first real chapter basically. Was it okay, good, awful, absolutely amazing or who cares? Anyways thanks for reading and I'll try to update as soon as I possibly can again even if no one is reading and I'm talking to myself.
