Day 2- Monday
Chapter 4
-Katia's POV-
"Mmm, that was a good sleep!" Isaid lightly to myself, stretching a bit with my arms up then out beside me, as I awoke- to my surprise- to the room being lit with sunlight dimly.
I glanced over to my right where the open space and floor was, and then I looked forward to where the window was. I propped myself onto my left elbow to get a better look, but, surprisingly, the curtains were still drawn over the window- and a dark shade if blue too.
I climbed out of bed, very quietly and sneaky, an walked carefully towards the window, looking up and down walking around everything that was on the floor. I stopped right in front of the window, looked quickly behind me, and as I climbed onto the window seat I parted the curtains big enough for me to enter, turn around and close them behind me without letting much sunlight escape- the noise I made doesn't count. When I was sitting on my knees firmly in the curtains, I decided to open one of the closed blinds( yes, there are blinds behind the curtains,) and take a quick peek outside. It wasn't really bright outside, but I still found it odd how the room was lit dimly with sunlight even though both the curtains and blinds were closed. I dropped the window blind I was holding, and continued to sit on my knees- until I realized something important, "The houses outside aren't the houses I see outside my window everyday." I mentally panicked.
I opened the same blind again; gasped; dropped it; exploded out of the curtains- almost tumbling off the window seat, but managed to close them behind me; and I sank to the ground with my knees together against the wall of the window seat.
"I know this isn't my house, nonetheless my room- but why does everything seem vividly familiar?" I mentally screamed at myself.
Anyway, I think I made some noise as I halfway tumbled out of the curtain and window seat- no scratch that, exploded- because I heard a soft grunt then sigh coming from the pile of blanket on the floor. When was that there?
"Wait a minute, is the blanket in the shape of a human body...?" I thought.
That's when it hit me- I wasn't at my grandparents house in my room, I was in Katio's house in HIS room. I was in panic mode for a second there, what a relief !
"I wonder how long it took me to get it through my thick skull..." I pondered.
I crawled over to the blanket on the floor and noticed Katio's head sticking out of it- lying on a pillow.
"Fail- am I an idiot or what? How could I NOT notice he was sleeping on the floor this whole time, and that I was visiting?" I made a face as I mentally kicked myself- hoping he wouldn't see it.
I sat right in front of his face and started poking his right cheek- because it was the closest thing to poke to me and I think one of the only places that wouldn't make him go in perverted mode if touched or something- with my index finger on my right hand as laid on my stomach on the floor and I propped my chin on my left hand. I heard him grunt a little bit more, then he sat up rubbing his face with his right hand while his left arm supported him. He sighted then slightly stretched and yawned, and then bent over a bit to rub his face.
"Good morning!" I said to him calmly, smiling and looking at his chocolate eyes who were now looking at mine.
He closed his eyes and covered his face with his hands, except his mouth- which smiled slightly to the right- and gently said,
"Good morning. Hey, do you know what time it is?"
I sat up straight as he removed he hands from his face and started to stare deep into my eyes. I stiffened even more as I willed myself to glance around between him, the alarm clock to my left on his night stand glowing bright red numbers and the clock on the wall behind him, ticking away... slowly. Both clocks say the same thing: 5:20am.
