It's been five years since Cassie last saw him, so why was he on her mind now she had no idea. She now went by Cass no longer killing so obviously but in the night putting on a different mask each time, going to a random country each time, and killing a drunk, a killer, a rapist, suicidal person. Always someone who either didn't deserve to live or someone who wanted their life to end. In fact that's what she did to her "dead" father.
Yeah the drunk bastard raped her after getting her drunk of course. the sad part was he knew what he was doing cuz he kept repeating, my beautiful demon....
So there you have it. the reason I changed. the reason I disappeared. I guess it's the reason im thinking of shadow again....what would he think if he saw me now? still dressed in black but hair back to blonde....hes never seen me like this I wonder if hes thinking of me right now, the joy we shared torturing and making art he was all I had....does he ever wonder what happened to me? is he watching me? I look out into the darkness looking around the branches ive been living in. no one knows me. ive made sure of it. shadow is the only one I showed my tears to, the only one I laughed with....the only one I could ever love....
