Chapter One

Warning! Story is marked as mature due to the fact that I will be using strong language as well as there will be mature content in this story. Just further done the line...You've been warned :3

"All right. A week next Saturday at the Stork Club."

It was like a dream as the sweet voice washed over him. He relished in the lingering softness of that sweet voice.

"...Don't you dare be late. Understood?"

His lips curled into a grin at the familiar bluntness of such a women, a women that had captured his heart.

"Understood." He muttered his eyes widening as he saw a vision before him emerging. With hope he thought it would be Peggy. Why would it not be as he had just heard her voice? He was seeing brown tresses and warm eyes...it had to be her.

Without thinking his hand reached out to touch her cheek to make sure she was real but it was then that the dream crumbled.

"What did you do to him?" She suddenly snapped her eyes lifting to narrow at someone behind his head. Too confused to care who she was looking because those dark locks and warm eyes suddenly turned into flaming hair and cold blue eyes. His brows came together as he recognized Natasha above him.

He let out a grunt as he sat up rubbed his head where his temples began to throb. Natasha looked at him before standing up herself.

"Alright. I guess that is it for today. Rest up you're all going to need it tomorrow." With that they were left alone in the room with Steve standing up and having Natasha raising a slender brow at him. He frowned at her, not particularly fond of sharing his past with anyone especially that parts dear to his heart. But she was his teammate, a person he'd place his life in her hands, he at least owed her some type of explanation.

"She is getting stronger." His simple reply was referring to Wanda who had inevitably penetrated his mind once again. He was really beginning to dislike her doing that to him. Knowing just the type of effect Wanda could bring about Natasha backed off a bit and nodded. "She has a good teacher. Best try to keep your distance on her next time." Knowing all too well of keeping secrets Natasha, she could guess what kind of vision had been thrown into Steve's head. She had after all over hear him whisper Peggy's name in his confusion.

Handing the man a water bottle she walked with him leaving the training room behind them. "Have you thought about dating yet?"

The question came to a surprise to the man but he only regarded Natasha for a moment before truthfully answering, "Dating seems to work a lot differently now a days...I don't have the time anyway." Now the last part could just be an excuse as right then he had time. They weren't doing anything except training for the next big attack on the world.

At the response given Natasha only grinned at Steve, "Well I think it's time you jumped on the bandwagon." She then proceeded to take his phone from him and download an app. Once loaded he was given the low down of how it worked and how it could potential help him find dates. Once he had some sort of clue how to work things, she left him so that he could make his profile. Even though he was shown only a few moments ago he was still new to all the tech savvy lingo and buttons leaving him confused at some moments. Eventually though he was staring at his own profile, frowning slightly as he was apprehensive about this.

How was he supposed to meet genuine people through a phone? With a sign closed the app just as he was texted he was needed in the meeting room. Good, something to keep his mind of the past.

So what do ya'll think so far? It will get better I promise. So I figured if I kept my chapters shorter instead of pages and pages long, then I would have a better chance of writing and adding to my stories. So this is why it is so short. Hopefully the next chapter will be up soon. Quite inspired at the moment with this story so...vote, comment, tell me what you all think!
