What the hell? His lips pressed together in annoyance while his friend across the table died of laughter. He only rolled his eyes at her, at least someone found this funny, before he swiped his finger over the block button. No way in hell was he going to be talking to someone that just asked to suck his c***.

"I am glad you find my lack of love life funny Ariel." He huffed at her, momentarily glaring at her before he resumed his normal expression of annoyance. His friend tried to compose herself as she shook her blonde head, "C'mon! It's kind of funny." She giggled out, "You're the only person I know who attracts so many creeps."

This only got her another menacing glare as well as for James to get up from the table and grabbed his stuff. He was meaning to leave, not going to seat here and listen to his unsupportive friend laugh at him. Quickly though his friend got up and grabbed his arm, "Oh come on, Jammie..." She pleaded as she nudged him to seat. Not really wanting to leave he lowered back down into the seat watching Ariel sit down as well before listening to her, "Look why don't you make a new account with a fake name but a good, GOOD, picture of yourself. Give it one last go. If it doesn't work then I will personally find you your future husband."

The thought was tempting yet he was so deflated at the last few creeps he'd found on the match making app he didn't know if he could handle another hook up call. He just wanted to find that one and true person that he could call his, that he could give himself over to completely. But it seemed the modern 21st century world didn't care about love instead everyone only cared about fucking. Yet he hopelessly hopeful that his one true love was out there he just had to find them. So he gave a deep sign and nodded at Ariel, "Fine but if it turns sour your taking me to a bar and getting me wasted." He would need to forget his failure on Tinder then.

She only grinned in happiness reaching out to grab his hands, "Sweetheart, who the heck could resist you? You'll find someone, trust me." She encourage before snapping at him to eat. She was always the worry wart over him, acting like a momma bear though they were the same age. He gave her a pout before he forced in a few more mouthfuls of food and he was standing grabbing his side back. "I've got to go Ariel. You know how they hate it when I am late."

Ariel only huffed at him while rolling her eyes as she pointed her fork at him. "You seriously need to get a new job. They don't appreciate you!"

He only laughed at her, waving her good by as he made his way to the tech store on Fifth Avenue. Unfortunately Ariel was right as James could do a lot more than just fix up a few old computers but little did he know that other's would know this.
