Faye woke up, her surroundings were now familiar. She was in the back Leonardo's workshop. Turning her head to the left where she felt a presence, she spotted Ezio asleep on the chair besides her bed. She smiled and shuffled slightly. Instantly, Ezio opened his eyes and looked at her. "Morning," he muttered looking at the small blonde, "how are you feeling?" He stood up and sat on the bed Faye was currently lying in. He placed his hand on her forehead to check her temperture.
"I'm fine." She muttered removing Ezio's hand from her forehead
"You didn't seem fine whilst you were unconcious." He replied trying yet again to take her temperture.
"I'm fine." Faye repeated.
Slowly, she started to climb out of bed, annoyed already with staying still. Ezio, of course, was against this and started to protest against it but she sent a glare and he shut up. Hobbling slightly, she stood up. Faye realised that she was in fact still clothed in her asssassin robes except for any of her weapons, her cloak and her armour. They were placed on a chair not too far away and she started to head for them before stumbling and falling on her face.Ezio was immediatley by her side and helping her up. "Are yo alright?" He started floating around her, making sure she didn't injure herself in any way. All the commotion had caught Leonardo's attention. He came bursting through the door and saw Faye hitting Ezio around the head to calm down.
"Faye!!!" Leonardo called out and rushed to her side, relieved to see the small woman awake.
Faye turned around to see her dear friend. She smiled at the artist as Ezio went and fetched her stuff for her. He handed it to her and headed out to give her some privacy whilst pushing Leonardo out the door. Faye quickly placed all of her armour on, wrapped her cloak around her shoulders and equipped herself with her weapons. She was about to open the door, glad to be moving around, when she remembered the mysterious man who turned up. But that had been in a different place, she thought. Looking around she noticed nothing out of the ordinary.
That was when she saw it. On her left wrist there was some kind of mark. She brought her wrist closer to her face, quite surprised. She then worked out they were numbers. A 2 and a 0 written eloquantly and flowing. It looked as if there were leaves coming of the letters, inked into her skin. She stood and stared at her wrist for around 5 minutes, perplexed by these strange numbers on her wrist. Ezio knocked on the door to make sure she was alright and Faye instantly snapped out of her daze. Quickly covering her wrist so no one would see the numbers, she headed to the door and opened it. Sending a quick smile to Ezio before asking, "so, what's next?"
AN: OMG INSPIRATION!!!!!!!!!! This was kind of a filler except from the bit at the end and sorry for it being kind of short but I will write loads for the next one, pinky pie promise and everything!!! You can probably all work out what the numbers mean but for the sake of the story, Faye will not understand. Not sure when the next update will be because I've got one week until I'm in Year 10 (scary thought I know), and even if the teachers don't acctually view us as Year 10's, they still like to dump a bunch of homework on us. Mean teachers being mean as per usual.
