"Hurry up! We don't want to be late!" I yell up the stairs. "Ok!" Peja and Annika yell in unison. I run upstairs into my bedroom, where my friends are feverishly packing their suitcases. I walk over to my bed in order to grab my purse and suitcase, but they're nowhere in sight. Instead, I poke the large lump covering my bed. When it doesn't move, I yell, "MAR MAR!" in its ear. She shrieks and falls off my bed. Laughing, Annika and Peja slowly walk downstairs with their bags. Mar Mar groggily asks, "What time is it?" I help her to her feet and smooth her bedhead, saying "Time to load the car, we need to leave soon. I'll help you with your bags." I grab her duffel bag, purse, and suitcase and Mar Mar grabs her five-foot-tall stuffed panda she named Bubbles. "I'm ready." she says, yawning. After loading the bags into my brand new white convertible, I run back into my room and grab my bags. After placing my Teacup Pomeranian named Galaxy into her carrier and setting it in the backseat, we all pile into the car. I start the ignition and back down the driveway. "Los Angeles, here we come!" we yell as we drive away.
