5 Months Later, April 2025

There were people mulling about, numerous at that. They were all carrying a box or two and random items such as a giant lava lamp, which no one actually knew to whom it belonged to. As said before, there are a lot of people around, so it should come as no surprise that one of them would drop a box. And that's exactly what Camila almost did.

"Whoa, hey be careful," one of the guys who was walking pass said. He was holding onto the bottom of the box she held that was actually quite larger than her. "Do you have it?" Locking eyes with the much taller man, she adjusted her hands so that they were placed where his were on the box. "Yeah baby, I have it." He only arched an eyebrow in response. "Don't look at me like that, I really do have it," she said giving him a smile. At that, he swiped his thumbs along the back of hers before removing his hands from underneath the box.

"Hey lovebirds," a voice said from a few feet behind them, causing the couple to roll their eyes at the interruption. "Hi Dinah." "Wassup cousin," the duo said at the same time. Dinah walked up to the two completely before she said anything. "Hey do me a favor, yeah? Don't drop my records because you're too busy making heart shaped eyes at one another." Camila only chuckled in retort, while Masi huffed before asking, "Why aren't you helping us by the way? Half of these boxes are yours." "They sure are and the other half belong to your cute little girlfriend," Dinah said, moving her left hand to pinch at Camila's cheek.

Camila so desperately tried to move her face from within Dinah's reach but the box hindered her from doing so. "And to answer your first question, I'm on baby duty," Dinah finished, patting Camila on the side of her face after successfully pinching her right cheek. She then giggled at Camila mouthing "I actually hate you" to her. "I was just on the way to grab her a bottle but you two were blocking the middle of the hallway, so if you would please get out of my way," she said, smiling wholeheartedly at the couple. "Yes mom. Bye baby," Camila said, smiling at Masi who bent down to kiss her cheek. She then began to walk towards the open door that led to their basement, which the new roommates decided would be the music room.

After watching his girlfriend leave, Masi turned to face his cousin who was giving him a knowing smirk. "Keep your comments to yourself Dinah Jane." "I don't know what you're talking about Thomas," she responded, finishing the journey to her and Camila's kitchen. Masi only followed behind her, stopping to lean against the granite counter in the kitchen as Dinah dug through the rapidly filling fridge for Gracie's bottle. After locating the 6 month old's bottle, Dinah turned around to see her cousin giving her an inquisitive look. "What is it," she asked in a huff of annoyance.

"Did you call Dr. Robinson and made sure that he transferred your files over to Dr. Smith?" Dinah rolled her eyes at the question but answered it nonetheless. "I called him yesterday actually, all of my files have been transferred. My prescription has even been filed at the Rite Aid down the block. Anything else?" The twinge of annoyance never quite left her voice and Masi noticed. Because of that, he stood up a little more straight and softened his voice, reaching an arm out to tap hers.

"Hey, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to do the overbearing thing...again. I was just making sure," he said, moving the arm that he tapped hers with to rub at the back of his neck. Dinah relaxed immediately noticing his action, which he normally did out of nervous habit. She moved closer to her cousin, placing Gracie's bottle on the counter in which he leaned on and engulfed him in a hug that he gladly returned.

They stood like that for a beat before Dinah spoke up. "I'm sorry. I'm working on the attitude, I promise. You know how that goes. I know that you were just checking and I'm sorry for speaking with that tone." With that, the two broke apart from their hug, Dinah stepping back from Masi with Gracie's bottle once again in her hand. "Apology accepted. You are my favorite cousin after all," Masi said. He started laughing softly when a not so subtle "HEY" was yelled from a neighboring room. "Sorry Seth, but it's true," he replied to the voice of Dinah's youngest brother.
