DISCLAIMER: INSPIRED BY EVERYTHING STUCK TO HIM BY RAYMOND CARVER
He's in Hogsmeade for Christmas and wants to know what it was like when he was a kid.
Tell me, he insists. Tell me what it was like when I was a kid, before Hogwarts. He chugs down butterbeer, glares at him insistently and burps.
He's a stocky, silver fox, clever yet playful and Viking-like, unlike his parents, an idiot from top to bottom.
That was a long time ago. That was bloody thirty eight years ago, he says.
Oh come on! He chugs more butterbeer, causing it to spill all over his knit sweater.
What do you want me to say then? He rolls his eyes in boredom. What else could I say? Well, there's something when you were a baby, he says with embarrassment.n
TELL ME! He starts jumping up and down. TELL ME! TELL ME! TELL ME!
Oh sit down, Seyton.
He takes two wands and weaves them in his hair to make devil horns and runs around. Draco takes him and settles him down, scoffing.
They were outcasts. A Mudblood and a Pureblood.
Seyton interrupts! Ooh. Ooh. Daddy, is this a story about dogs?!? My friend has a Pureblood!
No, that's a purebred.
Draco continues.
So one day, the Pureblood's friends visited. The Mudblood attempted to be as proper as possible. She curled her brown locks and spritzed bits of her makeup.
"MOMMY?!?"
Draco ignores him.
As she walked in, Crabbe snickered at her, mocking her slow, awkward movements. The Mudblood, a feisty one, rolled her eyes and spit in his tea when he was not looking. She handed it to him slowly and "accidentally" stepped on his foot.
The Pureblood continued to talk to his other friend Goyle. The Mudblood settled herself in his lap. And smiled, gently kissing his cheek. Goyle made a disgusted face.
Suddenly, the baby started crying. Softly at first, it eventually crescendoed. Crabbe and Goyle snickered. Then, suddenly it vomitted on the floor. The Mudblood sat up, ready to clean it but Crabbe had his leg out.
She tripped over and landed in the vomit.
"Oh looks like she's a vomitblood now," Goyle joked.
The Pureblood started to laugh uncontrollably. The Mudblood, humiliated, stormed off. The baby started to cry again.
The Pureblood at first thought she was over exaggerating. Just whining. But then she did not return. A day passed. Then another. And another.
And finally he looked for her. And looked. And looked. Three days until he found her in a friend's house.
He apologized. She cried. He cried. She smiled. He hugged her. She kissed him.
And they went home.
"DID MOMMY LEAVE AGAIN?!?" Seyton said, jumping up and down.
"No," he sighed, remembering the way she died.
"WHAT HAPPENED? TELL ME, DADDY!"
"You made Mommy fall off a cliff by tripping her!"
"Then, let's go cliff diving and rescue Mommy!!! Yay"
"Or I can do this!"
Crash! Draco looks down.
"Now, you're with Mommy!"
The End
