Chapter Seven: The Move

* Cynthia's POV *

~ the next morning ~

* alarm buzzing *

I woke up and start looking for the alarm to stop the buzzing

When I turned it off I got out of bed and took a shower

I got dressed into my navy blue high waist shorts and my white tank top with my white toms

As for my hair I decided to leave my hair natural and pin it to the side

As I got downstairs my parents are in the kitchen eating

My mother saw me and said " good morning mija "

I smiled and said " good morning mom"

My dad smiled at me and said " good morning mija "

I got my food and sat down in my seat and said " good morning daddy "

My mother said " are you excited about the move? "

I smiled at her and said " yes mom I am excited "

~ after breakfast ~

I here in the living room watching television

I pulled out my phone and decided to text my friends

Cynthia: Hey guys!! Do you want to go hang out at Starbucks!!

Brittanie: Yeah sure

Jennifer: Yes!!

Rosa: OMG yes!!

Stephanie: Sure let's go!!

Cynthia: Okay meet me there at 10

~ text group conversation over ~

I downstairs to the basement and saw my parents packing and I said " mom dad I'm going out with the girls at Starbucks "

My parents looked at me and said " okay have fun "

I smiled and gave them a hug and said " thanks and I will "

I walked upstairs and head to the door and lock it

~ arrived at Starbucks ~

When I arrived at Starbucks I saw my friends sitting down in our usual Booth drinking their coffees I smiled and walked over to them

My friends saw me and said " hey Cindy " I took my seat next to Jennifer and said " hey girls "

Rosa gave me my coffee and said " their you go I ordered your favorite "

I smiled at her and take my coffee from her and said " thanks rose "

She nod her head in response

I looked down at my coffee in sadness

Stephanie saw me and said " what's wrong Cindy "

I looked up at her and saw that they are looking at me

* I sigh *
