No Lies

Chapter 3

                              As I head to my crummy old  apartment that cost me, what lunch costs at this old restaurant that just had the worst soup i ever had (by the way its two dollars a weeks rent). As i come inside i find myself spending more time finding something good to where, but i should be going to work. But i have a strange feeling about that man who just kept on staring at me, like i had something horrible stuck in my teeth. Well as i pop into the shower because, i got pudding on my butt and i smell like a person after a yogurt commercial, and let me tell you, they don't smell great. As i come out of the shower, i get a text message from the chief and all he said was "Thanks for joining our station. I know it doesn't seem like much tomorrow, we are getting a cleaning crew and they are going to get right on it. So take the day and have fun." Then he gave me everyone's phone number. I thought it was nice, but i think he's trying to be one of those, "Trying to be your friend boss". I hate those kinds of bosses for many reasons but i see no reason but to befriend him, its not like he keeps a dungeon of children downstairs in the station. Befriending your boss is just another said attempt for an easy friend because you just know his friends are the things in his office and when they break, he's going to cry about it and just bring out the worst of him, then he will turn into the mean boss. I don't want that to happen so i will just stick with "Wanting to be your friend boss". But i cross the line when they start to invite me the random things that i don't even like, because most of the time, it's just wine and cheeses. So i cross the bridge and i see no man, that man wasn't there. It was strange, i thought he was looking at my soul.
