Chapter 1

- Rain droplets dripped slowly down the windows of my mum's car. I had spent the last several hours watching them do so. Moving to my aunt's house wasn't what I thought of has a fresh start , but apparently my mum did. Unlike other kids I wasn't forced to have a 'fresh start' because I acted out. My mum needed ,"time to clear her head."

-Which I quickly agreed to. She just couldn't control herself when there was a 'man' around. She wasn't a slut or anything like that though. She would just go out on a 'date' with them and when they didn't call back she acted like they had been going out for years. Crying her eyes out asking what was wrong with her. So basically she was the teen and I was the mum.

- Aunt Janise was my only hope to finally be a teenager. I could hand over my mum and relax. I haven't relaxed in years. I loved my mum, I didn't think of her has a burden, but it did get stressful handling both her life and mine. Maybe during this 'break' she'll be able to take control again.

-Aunt Janise's house was ginormous. There were cars parked everywhere . Trees surrounded the tall building, I had to crane my neck just to look at their tops. I could hear noises from inside of the house causing me to become more curious. I grabbed two of my bags from the back of the car and trudged my way to the house.

- " Sara. Abby. I'm so glad you could make it. " My more than a little happy aunt embraced me in a tight hug.

" Your boxes arrived earlier today. I already had the boys put them in your rooms. "

Boys?

" Abby you can head up to your room and get things settled. I want to have a talk with your mum. "

" Where exactly is my room?"

" Oh silly me.", she laughed " Go up the stairs take a right, follow the hall to the end ,and then take a left. Your room is the last door on the right." I nodded.

Right. End. Left. Last right. Right. End. Left. Last right. Right. End. Left. Last right. Why couldn't she have just showed me herself?

- My new room was a mess. I guess 'the boys' didn't understand the purpose of organization. My boxes where all over the place, there was barely any room left for me to walk. Other than that and the annoying music being blasted through the wall from the room next door it was perfect.

-It was midnight when I finally finished unpacking and cleaning my room. I hadn't stepped out of it since we first got here . So the mystery of the cars outside was still unsolved. I'm pretty sure my aunt didn't own all of them. But, I was too tired to go downstairs and solve it myself. I texted my mum to tell her I was going to skip dinner, the thought of moving anywhere that was not my bed was very unpleasing.

- Birds' loud chirps came through the open window ,violating my peaceful sleeping time. I tried to resist the urge to open my eyes and throw a pillow at them. I let out a sigh and slowly stretched my arms to the side. Blindly pushing my bangs to the side ,the way I knew they would look acceptable ,I scouted to the edge of the bed. Finally I opened my eyes .

- " You know not many people can pull off bed head like you do ."

I have to admit I did scream at first, but I quickly got over it and threw a pillow at the stranger.

" Get the fuck out of my room now !"

I guess Aunt Janise not only didn't teach 'the boys' organization but also manners!

The boy raised his hands up in the air," Okay okay. Aunt Janise wanted me to tell you it's time to eat."

Aunt Janise?
