---Jazlyn's POV---
"Jaz!!"
"Coming!" I yelled.
I ran downstairs.
"I know! I know,"I said and ran outside.
"Sorry,"I said.
"Kya sorry yaar?" Manisha asked.
"Late ho gai,"I frowned.
"It's only college. Yaha par khonsa attendence lagna wala hai," Ankita said.
"It's the first day!" Me and Manisha said.
We arrived on campus and went on our ways. We were all starting at the same time but we didn't end around the same time. There was about an half hour or full hour difference, I can't remember correctly.
I arrived to my class and just waited for the professor to show up.
He finally did and the class got started. We did the normal first day stuff, the syllabus and ice-breakers.
"Desi?" Some guy asked after I said my name.
"You don't look it,"he added.
"I get that a lot,"I said.
"I bet,"he said.
"And your name?" I asked.
"Jai,"he said.
"Also desi?" I questioned.
"Ji, mai bi Desi hu,"he said.
"Why do you spell your name so complicated, why not just Jasleen?" He asked.
"Well, I understand it's pronounced like that, but I mean Desi hona maza ni atha, if the teacher can pronounce it correctly,"I said.
We both laughed at that. He seems like a pretty cool guy to be around.
The class was over and we walked together.
"So tum Jai kasa bana? I mean what is it short for?" I asked.
"Full name hai,"he said.
"Jai?" I questioned.
"Koi shaq?" He asked.
"Ji nahi,"I said.
"Toh Jazlyn, I'll see you see later. Yeh meri class hai,"he said.
"Okay, see you around,"I said and left.
Pretty cool guy, I thought to myself.
