It was a beautiful day out, the sky was light blue and cloud-free, birds were singing, and the air was clear. It had only been a couple weeks since Francis and Arthur had exchanged their apologies and made their deal. Today the two of them had planned to meet up at a small, local coffee shop for lunch. Nothing big, just simply something casual that the two of them could do as friends and that they both enjoyed.

Arthur was looking forward to it, but he was also nervous. He was worried about Francis' current eating habits and how he'd act about it all in public around other people. They'd been spending some time together and while Arthur had been observing Francis, he realized that the Frenchman wasn't eating nearly enough for meals. He thought about what he could do to make Francis more comfortable in his own skin, to make him feel happy again. He thought about these things as he got dressed into something casual, but nice; a white dress shirt with a green vest and a pair of black jeans.

While that was going on, Francis on the other hand in his house, was getting frantic. He couldn't find anything that he thought looked good on him. What he thought his shirts seemed too tight because they didn't fit, or outfits simply didn't match. Sure it was just a lunch get together, but he wanted to look presentable in front of other people. After trying his third shirt on he got frustrated and threw it off onto the bed. He then went in front of his mirror and looked at his waist and stomach area, pinching around at the small amount of fat. He pinched and pinched until there were red marks everywhere, he sighed then went back to the closet and put his shirt that was the least tight. A plaid black and white dress shirt. He then put on a pair of dark blue jeans and after that he headed out the door on his way to the coffee shop.

When Francis arrived at the meeting place, Arthur greeted him with a smile and a light wave. "Heh, running a little late today huh?" he teased with a small chuckle. He held the door open for Francis as they walked in, Francis' cheeks flushed a light pink "I-I'm sorry if I made jou wait long Arthur." he said embarrassed. Arthur shook his head a little "No no it's fine, I was just messing with you. I wasn't waiting long anyways. Shall we?" He asked, motioning to a booth on the far side of the room. Francis nodded, then they walked over and sat down. Arthur took a menu and opened it, scanning the items. "Hm.." His eyes stopped at a particular meal "Their sandwiches look great." He said happily.

Francis looked up from his menu and nodded with a small grin "Yeah?" he chuckled then looked back down at his menu. He bit his bottom lip as he saw the pictures of the meals, they looked fatty and filled with calories.. Though he was trying not to he was getting very nervous, his hand started to twitch. He flipped through the menu until he sighed and decided to just get a salad. The healthiest thing on the menu, and the least calories. Arthur looked at Francis with a questioning but concerned look "You okay over there?". Francis looked back at him and chuckled with a nervous smile "Oui (Yes), of cour-"

Just then he was interrupted by a waitress coming up to their table to take their orders. She had light, auburn hair and deep brown eyes that almost looked like the shade of chocolate. She smiled and said "Hello! My name is Charlotte, what can I get you two today?". Arthur gave a polite smile then said "I would like the ham and cheese sandwich with a side of chips and a cup of Earl Grey tea.". She nodded then looked over at Francis, who smiled nervously and looked at the menu to avoid eye contact "Ah, um..Could I get the Caesar Salad and a cup of black coffee please?" She nodded and said "Alrighty, I'll be right back with your drinks." The two males then both said thank you as she walked off.

Arthur looked at Francis, concerned. "Is that going to be enough for a meal Francis?" he asked politely, he didn't want to upset Francis. He responded "Oui, I'm sure it will be. I'm not too hungry anyways, I had a late breakfast today." he lied with a small chuckle as he rubbed the back of his neck lightly. He actually hadn't even eaten breakfast that day, this was the first time he'd eat. Arthur bit the inside of his cheek and he asked again,

"Are you sure you're okay Francis?"

The frenchman replied "Oui, I am sure." with a small nod and a smile. "Thank you for asking but really, I'm fine." Arthur didn't seem convinced but he didn't want to upset Francis by arguing or questioning him any more than he already had.

"If you say so.."
