Chapter 1: Walk through the doors...

10-year-old Vanellope Von Schweetz walked through the doors to Sugar Rush Elementary. The place was PACKED! Kids were running around the hallways, candy was scattered across the floor, and many... MANY people she recognized were there.

"Cool." Vanellope shrugged as she flung her pink and green striped backpack over her shoulders. Suddenly, a boy bumped into her. "Oof! Sorry." He said.

"No, that's ok." Vanellope smiled. "Say, what's your name?"

"Bobby. Bobby Stickyfingers." He replied, pushing his chestnut brown hair away from his eyes. He had thick black glasses, a dark brown sports jacket, a cookie dough coloured t-shirt, baggy caramel coloured and white swirled pants and black boots.

Vanellope tried not to giggle. It was a funny name. "I'm Vanellope Von Schweetz!" She grinned.

"No way! You're like, the president right?" Bobby exclaimed. Another fan, Vanellope thought.

"Yup!" She grinned."Soooo, who's class are you in?"

"Mrs.

Flambé." He replied.

"Hey! Me too! But I guess Jubileena isn't." Vanellope giggled.

"Who's Jubileena?" Asked Bobby.

Vanellope pointed to a girl with red hair who was bawling over by two other girls.

"Oh my gosh, Taffyta, Candlehead, I'm gonna miss you guys!" Jubileena sobbed.

"Us too!" Taffyta and Candlehead tried to smile.

"We'll Candlehead, at least you're in your moms class!" Jubileena bawled.

"Well yeah... But you're in Mrs. Zaki's class! She's nice!" Taffyta smiled.

"She's Minty's mom! I always wondered why are all our friends parents teachers?" Candlehead questioned.

"Yeah, I always wondered that too." Vanellope chimed in.

Suddenly, the bell rang. The kids rushed to their classes. This was Vanellope's fresh start. She was going to be a brand new glitch.

Chapter 2: Attendance

Taffyta Muttonfudge and her best friend, Candlehead, walked into their classroom. Arms linked, they strutted to two desks beside each other. As Taffyta flipped her white blonde flat ironed hair, she noticed a girl with a familiar jet black ponytail and a teal hoodie sitting in front of her. She had candy scattered around in her hair.

"Vanellope." Taffyta groaned. She glanced over at Candlehead, who was unsuccessfully trying to light a match to light up the candle atop her head.

"Um, Vanellope?" Taffyta asked. Vanellope turned around.

"Muttonfudge." She groaned.

"Yeah, hi! Um, listen up. Just 'cause you're the president, doesn't mean you're more popular than me. So I suggest you back your little booty off." Taffyta sneered.

"You think my booty's little?" Vanellope asked sympathetically, hand over her heart. "Come on Taffyta. At least people like me." She shot back.

Taffyta looked offended. "What? I'll have you know I was voted coolest girl in school." She replied. "And at least I'm not a glitch."

"How dare you!" Vanellope shouted, turning into blue and purple pixels. She was after all Sugar Rush's most wanted Glitch. "And I wasn't going to school here last year. I was at Glitch Elementary."
