Y/n's POV

I sighed as a steady breeze blew my h/c hair into my face, blocking my vision.

I pulled my hair into a pony tail, and stared into the darkness as my e/c eyes scoped the landscape. The full moon helped by shining light on the area, illuminating certain places with the it's milkish white glow.

My ears, which were a wolf's ears, were perched on the top of my head, picking up any slightest sound. They were black, with a white tips. There was no movement at all, which was normal. Usually, there's nothing out here, except maybe for the occasional monster or other supernatural being.

I was stealthy perched on a tree branch, the green leaves all around me, shielding me from unfriendly eyes.

I leaned back, and closed my eyes, as my tail, the same color as my ears, wrapped around the branch, helping me balance.

Usually, I would go out on a night like this, and hunt. But today, I wasn't really feeling like it.

If there's anything I disliked, it's the fact I'm a werewolf. I never wanted to be one, it just happened.

I never had any friends, mostly because if they found out my secret, they would call the government or something.

I was about to attempt to fall asleep when my ears picked up voices.

I listened closer, and I could make out a girl, and a boy. Two of the voices were a little more gruff, while the final one, I couldn't tell if it belong to a man or child.

Judging the volume, I would say they were fairly close, about a couple of meters away.

I kept listening closer, trying to make out what the family was doing.

"Ok, it's time for camping!" a high pitched voice said, presumably the girl.

"Yeah! Maybe we'll find a supernatural creature!" another voice said, cracking with puberty. It was the boy.

"Yesh kiddo, we're camping, leave the nerd at the shack!" I heard a gruff voice say, berating the boy.

"Stanley, leave the kid alone! We're planning to look for some creatures while you three set up camp!" the second gruff voice answered, defending the boy and himself from Stanley's comments.

"Where we setting up dudes?" a another voice, the one I couldn't identify said.

"It should be, right, about, HERE!" The gruff voice, Stanley said.

I froze, petrified. I careful and quietly made my way to the edge of the branch, the green leaves still shielding me. I looked down, and dread filled through me, like a sponge soaking up water.

They family was right under my branch, staring to set up a tent.

"Oh gosh!" I silently exclaimed, being as quiet as I could so they wouldn't hear me.

I had never been this nervous before, actually, scratch that. This is the second time I've been really nervous, the first being, um, well, let's not get to that.

I let that thought out of my head. All I was thinking about was this:

Tonight won't end well at all.
